Why is it when I record in a silent area I hear a low buzzing sound?

I just bought this camera a few hours ago. Immediately realized there is no image stabilization.

I'm not sure if there is any image stabilization in any pocket camcorder. That is the downfall when buying one, but for the price you can't beat it!

the zi8 actually does have image stabilization

but i got my zi6 for 98 bucks and this was for the bundled package so u really cant beat the price for these things

Actually, I have noticed a sound coming from this camera. You can barely tell outside, but when I'm in a quiet place, you can really tell. That is the only bad thing I have to say about this camera.

Could be either your connection or YouTube. That's one of the bad things about playing something in HD over the internet.

I'm buying this camera in a few days, and I was just watching this test footage and it seems to me its dropping frames. Is that just because I'm viewing this on Youtube with a slower computer? Is anyone else seeing how its dropping frames?

howd u get it without the black frame around the video, my vids with arcsoft have a black frame after saving

Your project ratio must have been 4:3. Therefore, when you rendered it, it put the black bars at the top and bottom of your video, inside the 4:3 ratio. Then, when you uploaded it to YouTube, you have black bars all around it. I'm not familiar with Arcsoft, but you need to set your project ratio to 16:9.

Another thing, if you're not using the YouTube uploader from ArcSoft, and you're rendering the file and saving it, make sure you save it as MP4 (720P), and not MP4 (VGA).
