in assassins creed II (i don't wanna spoil anything so i'll try to cut lose on the information) desmond fights some guy and the don't use guns, they use swords, yeah i think it doesn't make sence to do that but i don't know when desmond becomes a assassin.

your not too late they got a shipment about a week before launch and last time i checked which was yesterday they were still available but the price has risen a hell of a lot due to launch and high demand it now cost £200 which i think is extreamly high but my black edition arrive earlier today and it is really really cool not sure its worth £200 pounds maybe £100 but if you really want it its not too late

I think Altair is badass because he was #1, also he has a more rugged/manish thing about him, lol. Whereas Ezio starts off as a boy, he's still learning. In my opinion Altair will always be considered "THE" assassin, not just "A" assassin.

You guys can order the white edition i think but the black edition is EU exclusive, i dont know why but it is like that sometimes. US had some special edition of Bioshock that EU didnt get.

Actually Here in Australia a company called EB games (Australias version of gamestop) they had the black edition which i assume is the same as the EU black edition with Ezio figurine (black cloak) the game with three extra missions, and a whole lot of other stuff I can't remember right now but IM REALLY HAPPY because my sisters getting it for me for Christmis/ Birthday (birthday was september so i have to wait @#%#^@%)

Glad to see they're finally making the non-city areas relevant and meaningful to the gameplay. It was only after hours of wandering after my second completion that I really came to appreciate that Assassin's Creed had anything interesting outside of the cities, but even then it was pretty meager.

the games I think are contenders for game of the year is Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Uncharted 2.

The only thing that brings Uncharted 2 down is the frezing problem. and the fact that the update can cock up your ps3 like it has mine. but besides that if one of those 3 get it I wouldn't be surprised.
