I had the chance to see him here , in Venezuela, and he really surprised me , he makes love to the conterbass, he plays with so much passion , and also so gentle.... it was an unbelievable experience, thank you Edicson , thanks god for the miacre of the music, this guy belongs to the hole planet, the human race.
Edicson eres mi ejemplo a seguir!!!! estudiare muchísimo, tienes un sonido fantástico....mas éxitos para ti!!! que bueno que vinieras a Colombia de gira...seria genial
actually is very painfull... if you practice with petracci method its always using the thumb in the beginin you can't practice more than 5 minutes but with the time you become good and you will play faster , beacuse you use 4 fingers...
@MattMinteer but hi studied in caracas!! hi´s just one of the musicians that burnt into the National System of orchestras in Venezuela!!! like Gustavo Dudamel, Christian Vasquez and others!!
@MattMinteer Because he is a product of the Venezuelan music education system called "el sistema"
Many of great musicians of the world are coming from Venezuela. The world's eyes are watching what is happening in Caracas dubbed the Vienna of the Western Hemesphere.
Lo conocí y tuve la alegría de constatar que no es afectado, no asume poses de divo. A pesar de tener reconocimientos bien merecidos en el mundo de la música desde joven, es próximo, cálido, simpático.
omg what an amazing interpretation. My favorite...I working on this piece and im having a really hard time making the third movement different then the first movement when the main theme repeats itself..
Just out of curiosity: why would you want to make the repetition of the main theme different in the first and third movements? I mean, it's the exact same statement, but the fun in the third movement comes precicesely when the music changes and, with it , the whole character of the piece. I personally think that what's important is to make sure once the music starts to change, you start changing the character of the piece and drive it towards a real resolution.
gary karr's opinion is that the 3 movements of koussevitzky act as "one movement" in ABA form. so by that logic it would make sense for the return of the opening theme to be identical to the original time.
This is simply amazing! Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!!!
