Its a hollywood film not a documentary of course its not totaly accurate, but the charter of Benjamin Martin is roughly based on Francis Marion, a militia leader from South Carolina, know for disrupting the supply lines of the red coats. and furteher more what the hell do you know about United States history you're from the Netherlands, you just dont have a clue.

I love the small little brass chorale starting at 5:26... Puts chills down my spine every time hearing that soft delicate Horn part over Trombone chords along with that soulful Trumpet sound resting on top. That a perfect example that Brass playing is not just "Blastissimo guts" all the time... B.E.A.utiful!
