LOL... I came here to watch Sawyer's review about episode 219 yet all I see here in the comment section is an all-out word war between NaruSaku and NaruHina fans...
I like NaruHina more than NaruSaku and if the ending shows NS together I would be totally disappointed because I feel Sakura is not right for him. But if it happens I'll have to move on because first of all the pairing is not important right now with the war going on in the manga and the plot should be more important than the pairing. But I'll still hope for NaruHina and SasuSaku, maybe NaruSasu because I think they look cute together. But anyone than Sakura. :)
@Ferryie I really do agree with you because Sakura found Sasuke after all these years in episode 214 and decided to sacrfice herself to Sasuke the plan didnt work and Naruto ended up saving her anyways.

I have nothing against Sakura or Hinata, I just believe it won't work because Sakura is too busy focus on Sasuke which I believe it started to happen more when she realized how much Hinata is willing to go for Naruto, I mean check her facial when she told Neji that Hinata love Naruto, she was in pain. Hinata won't be with him in my opinion because of her personality and now that Kushina told Naruto that she wishes for him to be with a girl like her...
Both NaruSaku and NaruHina are one sided, as far as we know he may not have any desire to be with someone because he too busy focus on ending the world and whatever he had plans for Sasuke. I hate to say this because I am not a fan of this pairing, but NaruSasu is in the lead than any other pairings. Hell I be surprised if Naruto ends up with Karin, but that doesn't look like it happening anytime sooner, I mean it look like she falling for him.
Hmm to be honest I don't see Naruto with no girls, I mean for god sake when Kushina in the flashback told Naruto when he was a baby, she said to pick a girl like her. At much as some people afraid to admit it, but she want Naruto to be with a girl with her personality. Now you all got to ask yourself this, which female resemble Kushina in personality because I can tell you it not Hinata and barely Sakura. Unless we see a flashback where he accepts Hinata's confession and love.
Kakashi is not careless, he just means he doesn't have the qualities of being a Hokage. And I think Hinata is a better match with Shino, at least he acknowledge her strenght unlike a certain knucklehead ninja. For the Guy/Kakashi thing, yeah, it was funny when they throwed stuff at each other and then falled down on the ground, rolling. Pretty hilarious. XD
Guys, bottom line is, no matter what, and I mean it, no matter what his friends or even the Kages said to him, nothing will changed Naruto's mind of giving up on saving Sasuke. Period! End of Story!
@VJ87G If you haven't noticed, Naruto will fight Sasuke alone, he told his old classmates that. Besides, he also once mentiones that he wont try to save Sasuke anymore. Naruto has seen Sasuke's true identity and had given up on it. Sasuke can't be safed no matter what and Naruto has (finally) realized it. Get it?
@Urube23, But what about in Chap 549 to 552, then?! Itachi did say he wanted the Uchiha to maintain its honor, in addition, he's counting on Naruto to take care of Sasuke. im a huge fan of naruino even though it will never happen :(, but my logic is that it will be narusaku because how could she love sasuke after he tried to kill her?
One thing for sure, putting a hyperactive ninja and kunoichi with very anger flaws together is like putting water and eletricity put together and just like that, those two don't mix.
This isn't as bad of filler as somethings. We get the whole Hokage thing moving forward and find out the Fifth Hokage woke up. Both those things move story. Granted its not as serious as somethings.
@Talionis11 But not the whole episode was a filler. I mean: Konoha 11, Kakashi pointed as the next Hokage, and Tsunade woke up. Those are cannon. I see it as 166. Cannon but filled up to make the episode just longer.

I find these pairings to be amusing to talk about. besides this episode brings up Naruto's lack of interest in Hinata. and it's going to annoy some people.. not me.. but others.. xD
@stavrospats1 Yeah but we have yet to ever see Naruto to show feelings for Hinata, since i'm a Narusaku fan i'll try not to be Bias but i don't think NaruHina will happen for a few reasons, but one main one is, if Hinata doesn't start getting into the story more often from now on, it won't be likely, it would be weird in the end if Naruto randomly started to like Hinata, so basically she needs to start developing bonds with Naruto soon. Which is the main reason why NaruSaku has the edge atm.
@stavrospats1 Minato isn;t quiet.. in a flashback they showed him acting just like naruto, saying.." one day i'm going to be Hokage!" or something similar to that. If your trying to say Minata is like Hinata.. he isn't.. at all. =/ Naruto is like both his parents. Minato when he mad, Kushina when he is playful. but that is just how I see it. I could be wrong. x)
@ForTheLoveOfSasuNaru, Uh...Not in Kishimoto's Interview or in Chap 540. In Chap 469, Sakura wanted to Naruto to just give up on saving Sasuke, and have a confession of loving him. But Naruto's finds it "weird" and saw through it. And that's when he said: "I hate people who lie to themselves!" In 474, Sai told Naruto that Sakura didn't came to confess. We already see who's Sakura thinking, and it's surely not Naruto. Sakura loves Sasuke, much more than Naruto. And we know Hinata loves Naruto.
@VJ87G Didn't i disprove this already? in 469: Sakura blushes when telling Naruto she loves him, didn't seem acted and it was not a lie, the lie was when she said she no longer had any feelings for Sasuke, what the Lie was in that chapter gets confused often. If you're talking about when her admirer came and she told him: Sorry there's already someone. You do see a picture of Sasuke, but that's not a point your favor considering how she frowned as the image appeared, not normal for her.

@VJ87G That's not what i was arguing about, Yeah Sakura did that, for 2 reasons, she didn't want to burden Naruto, and she wanted to stop Sasuke herself before he stooped any lower. And she throughout the series shows slight feelings for Naruto, And obviously, anyone who reads the manga knows what happened with Sakura's confession, Naruto would never accept a relationship with Sakura if she wasn't being honest with herself, that's unlike him, what point is there to the relationship then?
@mesmorok101, If she was being truthful, she should have come out to it. But Naruto... well you saw what he did and say to Sakura in Chap 469 and 470. No matter what Sakura did, that won't changed his mind, and I don't think the rest of his friends or the kages or anyone else can changed his mind or make him give up becuase he won't.

@stavrospats1 Naruhina is not romantic.. maybe in Hinata's mind..but Naruto doesn't feel that way. here's how i see it. In part one, we see a one-sided love with Naruto to Sakura. he would run to her aid countless times. In part 2, Sakura seems to be the one running to the aid of Naruto. actions speak louder then words. and she always has him in mind. and I can actally say that becuase the Manga lets us "hear" what she thinks. I think I already commented on the sasusaku part.

I could imagine if maybe the man said something negative and then she thought of Sasuke but that wasn't the case. "He must really be a great guy if you're in love with him!" That's the irony when she thinks of Sasuke, because he is not a "great guy". The really isn't any other way to see it...But that really all you I guess lol.

That's why hate Madara so much, for lying to Sasuke, making him his pawn in his own game, and he's the one who really enemy number #1, not Sasuke. If Madara kills Sasuke, in front of everyone, trust me, that will proved that Madara using him like a rat. Madara is the one who need to show NO MERCY!!

Sakura has shown her love though her actions countless times, watch slextrem's video, Narusaku the build up. HInata may say she loves him, but Sakura shows her love.

Naruto's face expressions show that something ain't right when Sakura confess to him. When someone confesses their love, it's must be true, pure, faithful, and fromthe bottom of their heart. Sakura's confesion was the opposite of that. NaruSaku don't have any build up. Even Kishi say, "Naruto's close, but Sakura still loves Sasuke."

Narusaku is the only pairing in this anime/manga that has ANY build up at all. also you quoted Kishimoto wroung. He said," It looks like Sakura still loves Sasuke, but she is closer to Naruto." keep in mind their are around 5 versions of that interveiw all over the web. the ones that seems real to me are that ones that don't really tell us anything we don't already know.

Naruto's got enough brain damage, already, and it doesn't look like Sakura will benefit from it much. All her problems are Sasuke-based, so they'll continue until they make up, and there's not much Naruto can do about that. They're better as the brother/sister they never had.

I like NaruHina more than NaruSaku and if the ending shows NS together I would be totally disappointed because I feel Sakura is not right for him. But if it happens I'll have to move on because first of all the pairing is not important right now with the war going on in the manga and the plot should be more important than the pairing. But I'll still hope for NaruHina and SasuSaku, maybe NaruSasu because I think they look cute together. But anyone than Sakura. :)

Both NaruSaku and NaruHina are one sided, as far as we know he may not have any desire to be with someone because he too busy focus on ending the world and whatever he had plans for Sasuke. I hate to say this because I am not a fan of this pairing, but NaruSasu is in the lead than any other pairings. Hell I be surprised if Naruto ends up with Karin, but that doesn't look like it happening anytime sooner, I mean it look like she falling for him.

@stavrospats1 Yeah but we have yet to ever see Naruto to show feelings for Hinata, since i'm a Narusaku fan i'll try not to be Bias but i don't think NaruHina will happen for a few reasons, but one main one is, if Hinata doesn't start getting into the story more often from now on, it won't be likely, it would be weird in the end if Naruto randomly started to like Hinata, so basically she needs to start developing bonds with Naruto soon. Which is the main reason why NaruSaku has the edge atm.

But Naruto's finds it "weird" and saw through it. And that's when he said: "I hate people who lie to themselves!" In 474, Sai told Naruto that Sakura didn't came to confess. We already see who's Sakura thinking, and it's surely not Naruto. Sakura loves Sasuke, much more than Naruto. And we know Hinata loves Naruto.

If you're talking about when her admirer came and she told him: Sorry there's already someone. You do see a picture of Sasuke, but that's not a point your favor considering how she frowned as the image appeared, not normal for her.

@Mike21Hawk that doesn;t mean her feelings can't change. just cuse you fall in leave at age twelve doesn't make it final. <__< It's not that we don't know she loved Sasuke. clearly she loved him dearly, but it's that she appears to care more for Naruto now then ever before. But that is just my take on it. I have no idea what is going to happen next. ^^;

@fancynancypigs1 Ah your right! That doesn't mean that they won't change. But really, will they? It's been over 500 chapters. Sakura has known Naruto for 4+ years. During her confession she listed all the reasons she SHOULD love Naruto and still. She loves Sasuke. Oh, and please...If it's clear and blatant this request should be no problem...Please show me where she so clearly, cares for Naruto more. Please do :3

Im not about to look though the whole thing just to show you every moment those two have.. do you have any idea how long that would take!? -.-; in fact, Slextrem already did it for me, she has a video called Narusaku the build up. just watch it... it's save us both some time.. <_<

@fancynancypigs1 sasuke left like 3 years ago and she still isnt over him.in chap 540 the guy said the guy you love must be a great guy the sakura thinks of sasuke with a sad face that gives us 2 things 1)sasuke isnt a great guy 2)sakura loves him.and i believe that sasuke wont die in the end.naruhina has a little development back in the chunin naruto said that he liked poeple like her.kishi put a lot of development in a "friendly" narusaku and little in "romantic" naruhina to keep the balance

@stavrospats1 Naruhina is not romantic.. maybe in Hinata's mind..but Naruto doesn't feel that way. here's how i see it. In part one, we see a one-sided love with Naruto to Sakura. he would run to her aid countless times. In part 2, Sakura seems to be the one running to the aid of Naruto. actions speak louder then words. and she always has him in mind. and I can actally say that becuase the Manga lets us "hear" what she thinks. I think I already commented on the sasusaku part.

It was the chapter where that dude told Sakura who ever she's into must be a great guy and wouldn't you know it! She thought of Naru- oh wait... :3

I could imagine if maybe the man said something negative and then she thought of Sasuke but that wasn't the case. "He must really be a great guy if you're in love with him!" That's the irony when she thinks of Sasuke, because he is not a "great guy". The really isn't any other way to see it...But that really all you I guess lol.

It's anti because she appears to regret her feelings. I could be wrong, but that is just how it looks to me. and besides that.. It was one-sided love anyway.. That's why hate Madara so much, for lying to Sasuke, making him his pawn in his own game, and he's the one who really enemy number #1, not Sasuke. @stavrospats1 It's very clear that the way she is thinking is of regret to me. long before this happened the pairing already died. she tried to kill him twice. and he tried to kill her. it was also stated that she did all that for Naruto. face it Sasusaku is already dead. the only guy she thinks of in Shippuuden is Naruto. also.. Sakura has shown her love though her actions countless times, watch slextrem's video, Narusaku the build up. HInata may say she loves him, but Sakura shows her love.

Sakura wanted Naruto to just give up! But Naruto doesn't. Naruto doesn't like people who lie to themselves. And Sakura just lied to him. That wasn't a true confession at all. It was just pretend. And Naruto's face expressions on 469, don't even lie.

think about it. yes Naruto's face con denfend my side as well, after he said that famous line, and Sakura got so worked up, he looked shocked, like he was second guessing his own words.

@fancynancypigs1, Naruto may not be smart, and we all know that, but he's surely not that stupid to fall for that confession Sakura gave him. Naruto's face expressions show that something ain't right when Sakura confess to him. When someone confesses their love, it's must be true, pure, faithful, and fromthe bottom of their heart. Sakura's confesion was the opposite of that. NaruSaku don't have any build up. Even Kishi say, "Naruto's close, but Sakura still loves Sasuke."

Narusaku is the only pairing in this anime/manga that has ANY build up at all. also you quoted Kishimoto wroung. He said," It looks like Sakura still loves Sasuke, but she is closer to Naruto." keep in mind their are around 5 versions of that interveiw all over the web. the ones that seems real to me are that ones that don't really tell us anything we don't already know.

@fancynancypigs1, Basically, He did push Sakura away. He does not believe her. It was a lie anyway. And when Sakura was talking to the others, she was telling them that she was going to tell Naruto she loves him so she could get over Sasuke. But Naruto told her to stop with the jokes. So really, Sakura does not love Naruto like that. She loves him as a brother, or a best friend, but not a lover. Even Sai tol Naruto that Sakura didn't came to confess. Naruto did finds it "weird", after all.

@VJ87G for one thing.. her confession has NOTHING to do with taking out Sasuke. -.- and she never told the others that she was telling him she loved him. in the flashback she only said"leave the talking to me." she told them nothing. Naruto thought she was joking..clearly her was wrong. remember Sakura's words? how upset she got when he didn;t say i love you back? why would that bother her if she was lieing? it would only bother her if she loved him..and wanted to be loved in return.

But giving up is for weakings and rookies, and Naruto surely ain't wanted to be or even, for that matter, going to be one of them. @VJ87G Sakura love is alot easier for me to beileve then Hinata's, which was really random.. sweet..but random. Sakura has been falling for naruto since part 1 and and though part 2. nothing about her feelings seem "false" to me. you just don't like her, so you refuse to see it. Sakura has at least been there for him when he needed her, which is more then can be said of Hinata. does that matter? yes it should, it shows how much Sakura cares for him. she puts his feelings first, always. <3

@VJ87G Hinata claimed to "love" Naruto before even speaking to him. that isn't love. there are so many parts, listing them all is a pain, watch Narusaku the build up by slextrem. she has every moment they had in the Manga. all the times Sakura blushed at him, thought of him, and when she admited she trusts him completly. which is all part 1. she didn't hit him much in part 1, your watching to many fillers if you think that. =/ besides that's what a Tsundere does! LOL..xD

Naruto's got enough brain damage, already, and it doesn't look like Sakura will benefit from it much. All her problems are Sasuke-based, so they'll continue until they make up, and there's not much Naruto can do about that. They're better as the brother/sister they never had.
