  • I think you will like this drum sound v=6pepWBGSKgE it's an Argentinean band.

  • @daneeehhhh

yes, very good sound for sure! Thanks for sharing.

  • Awesome Dan !

  • I watch a lot of youtube stuff,,, your are VERY entertaining and educational ,,,, Keep up the good work and thanks..

  • @drumbumb1966

    THANKS!

  • I have a Mid 90's kit I stole on ebay 2 years ago ,,, I wasnt crazy about the WMP wrapped finish color but it was such a smokin deal for only $800.00 I had to have them... The auction just looked so bad no one else ever bid on them... Its a 26, 13, 16, 18. All Virgin and free floating ... even the floor toms.. they are ludwig super classics and sound amazing.

  • @drumbumb1966

    Good goin' !!!

  • im considering Black sparkle or silver sparkle,,, but for sure long lugs

  • WOW,, Also you have helped me feel comfortable in making up my mind.... im ordering a Ludwig Classic Maple Kit with long lugs ... why did you choose the 14 inch deep kick over the 16 deep on a 26 ?? less air to move ,,, meaning less cubic inches of blank mass ???

  • @drumbumb1966

Correct! I tried a 16" depth and found it to sound and responded differently. That doesn't mean you won't like it. For some time i regret getting the shallower 14" depth because when you don't port it and play heel up and let the beater rest on the head, you get a bad "flutter" sound, not tight at all. A 16" depth can be played this way and sound great until...

  • @GrooveDrummin

you play with your heel lower and not let the beater rest on the head, (see my first lesson), then the sound is unmatched. It literally "rips" your face off if you stand in front of it...But the 16" depth will be easier to play...your call.

  • Man, Im so sorry to keep bothering you,,,, Is your ludwig kit a Ludwig Legacy with re-enforcment rings ??? Or is it a Ludwig Classic maple straight wall kit ???

  • @drumbumb1966

no bother bro...classic maple made in 2001. Thanks for watching.

  • i cannot understand how you only have 2k views. this stuff is awesome. i've never been impressed by a drummer on youtube til now.

  • Every time i watch Dan, i think well this video can't possibly be better than the last one.I'm going to quit saying that. It's OK to be wrong once in awhile, but not all the time.LOL Great, great playing man.Just great

  • see John Bonham is still alive..

  • Outstanding !

  • Hello, just want to thank you for awesome vids :-)

An another thing i wonder about, what do you think about the Ludwig Mach Lugs (a.k.a. singlepiece long lugs) and why you bought your set with them? :-)

(ive just ordered a Ludwig CM in bonham config. with Mach lugs, Red Glass Glitter finish, inspired by you ;-) )

  • @orjanoye

    You're welcome bro!

I love the look of the long lugs and ordered them just for the appearance. Send me a pic when you get your kit, I'd love to see them in the finish you chose!

  • Wow, very great drumming....AMAZING

  • is that a 16" paiste 2002 china on far right?

  • @TheNevermind1313

    yes but 18"

  • Nice Drum set!

  • Hello groove ... I want to ask with what you've hung the camera on the roof?

  • @PaiceDrummer

Hi, all i did was rip apart the legs off of a desktop tripod and then mounted it up on the ceiling.

  • Really great Dan! You make it look easy (although I know it's not!).

  • awesome, the sound of the kit, the way you play, this is really awesome

  • I love the sound of ur playing and kit set up!! I've played with so many drummers that kit just goes "thud." Ur kit rings :D

  • the best on yt: you, Rick Fedyk and Bobby Rondinelli

  • @drumsanddrumming

    THANKS :)

  • Drumming is awesome, but your new moustache is awesome even more : )

  • @ChemoTherapy87 It really brings on a smile when I witness such admirable moustache appreciation!

  • Your sound is most impressive!

  • I'd rather see you play a tribute concert than jason bonham to tell you the truth

  • grooveee dawg : ]

  • Great open sound in this one. The toms sound really full here.

  • I think you might be more spot on than Jason Bonham!

  • Some good groovin' with great feel!

  • That looks like fun! Do you prefer the Camco over the Speed King (or vice versa)? I've never tried the Camco myself.

  • @winorth

Camco is much more responsive...They reissued it and the price is right $115!!

  • What a master

  • john bonham still live among us.

  • You don't feel like using the Ching ring eh?

    Nice Job! Thank you Dan.

  • great playing! your foot independance is impressive!

  • Awesome Dan!!

  • Great drumming Dan, as usual. Gonna take me a lifetime to get those skills!

I like that Camco pedal as well, prefer it over my Speedcobra. It feels a bit flimsy compared to that but plays great.

  • Nice drumming! Let's hope the next vid will come sooner than this one. :)

  • Sick beats!

  • that's a progressive groove??? haha, think I'm screwed, I aint got a show of getting upto speed with that be it progressively or otherwise. Keep it up mate, you're an inspiration as usual :-)

  • Cool! I love my Camco pedals from around the 80's. Very lightweight build, they knew what they were doing.

  • sick as usual

  • nice
