From the title "smoke, rain, west, chill" (literal translation), you can also guess that this dance is about a woman in a state of despair; her mental state is dwelled in the environment the title suggests; she's cold and in the dark but tries to grab something/ recalling some memories she doesn't want to let go and in the suffering of such a mental state. I'm not sure if the choreography is good but the dance, Wang Yabin whose dance are easily found on youtube is a top, world class dancer.
Does Wang Yabin have a real brothers or sisters in her own family? can i have a tight hug from her? because i have no real sisters. and how old is wang yabin now?
The dance itself is a "modern" form of Chinese dance. You can also say it's a dance of modern movements and classical Chinese dance techniqiues mixed. (The dress is also a traditional Chinese dance dress).
I don't think there is as story behind. Dance isn't always to do with a concrete story but to do with a state, an atmosphere, created by both the dancer's being/ spirit and physical powder.
Her dance technique is so amazing
