Paul claims to have a million supporters.. then you have the Barr and Baldwin folks...also some Gravel and Kucinich folks..toss in the people that march in EVERY DC march and the turnout was poor..You are unlikely to even make a splash in DC with less than 500,000 people..These tiny marches by lunatic fringe groups are a weekly occurrence in DC and are totally useless

we wanted to be there, but with the economy in the mess that it is, most of us couldn't afford it.

Too bad your not one of my friends or neighbors, because when they need something I give them the cash for it...many people live pay check to pay check, but I've observed that if there is something they want, even if extravagant, they come up with the money for it...

I have come to suspect that the enormous increase in the price of gasoline in the weeks leading up to this march was a purposeful and deliberate tactic engineered by the elite in order to discourage a larger turnout of people who lived a great distance from DC, who would have otherwise mase the trip.
