they changed the name in america not europe because it's a perfect bike to start with or for the already experienced riders who love to make a lot of miles on it for longer distances.

I got one myself the 2006 model in silver and love it no regrets what so ever.

Would be a shame to call this bike a Ninja, guess its to make it sound more "catchy" so more ppl buy it. If you compare the ER6-f / 650R with an actual ninja as the ZX6-R, There's a world of difference. First of all, 650R is a 648cc 2cyl with 8 valves. Ninja is a 648cc 4cyl with 16 valves and it outputs around 60bhp more than the 650R. 650R is a sports touring bike, not a ninja. a Ninja is a "racing bike". I'm gonna go for the 650R thou, as its more "relaxed"

If u look into it, you will find more.. What i know is that the engine has been tweaked for even better pull in lower rpms(top output is the same) There are other design diffrences, dash is new and digital, headlight is new, fairings look diffrent, new swingarm. and there is more that i dont know of. Im getting a Z750.

Because "Ninja" is cheesy as hell. But Americans are super cheesy so it makes sense over there. WHen I was looking at a Ninja 250, before i got this bike, all my mates were sniggering at "Ninja" :P

Could you say something about the comfort, vibrations, sound, speed and reliability of this bike?

I love the way it looks, but I may get the fz6 fazer instead of this one. It doesn't look as good as the er6f but the inline4 does sound better and is a lot smoother in my opinion.

What is printed on the front end of the gas tank? I have the same bike in the US (so the Ninja 650R).

Those are the fuel stickers for the European ER6f. (It can run on gasoline 91 or gasohol up to E10)

I needed a wind protection, I use the bike every day, also when rain, so I decided to change and buy the new F :) also... the new model is really COOL hehe =)

veramente bella.. .esteticamente è una svolta incredibile rispetto alla vecchia F, il ninja style le ha fatto benissimo :D, il sogno di una ninja bicilindrica si è parzialmente avverato finalmente :D

però cambiale lo scarico appena puoi (Arrow carbonio)... non hai idea di come ti cambi la vita questa piccola modifica!

attendo notizie su come va su strada rispetto alla N :D
