The atmosphere when Black lost the belt was vastly different from him winning it. After word of his intention to join WWE went out, he was called a sell-out by the ROH fans. Black stated, and he really meant it, it wasn't kayfabe, that he felt bitter towards the fans for jeering his decision yet giving CM Punk an appreciative send-off in Aug 2005.
On the night he lost the world title, which was also his last ROH appearance, he did Cena's can't see me wave and STF, which didn't please the crowd.
@luisalexander70 Yes he had a feud with Jericho but he didn't get injured immediately after that. He got de-pushed and jobbed for a few months until his injury. And I'm pretty sure a feud with Jack Swagger doesn't make him look any better. The WWE needs to understand that Bourne is so over with the fans that he at least deserves a U.S. title reign. I can picture him with that belt every time I see him in the ring.
@CadillacL Why do you say that? CM Punk is a three time world champion and daniel bryan is the US Champion and has only been pinned three times on television and undefeated at ppv's. The vince doesn't push indy stars argument is obselete these days. And don't bring up Kaval/Low ki. He asked for his release because the fans weren't responding to him

Even Del Rio, who once wrestled under a mask, had to unmask & change. If Vince would stop this 25 yr "Sports Entertainment" it'll get better.
@Bravesrtops Actually, Vince is pushing all kinds of younger stars. TNA is taking his old guys and giving them titles while Vince is resorting back to his old ways. He's signing indy guys and making them names. TNA takes WWE guys and gives them titles like it isn't even a challenge, if WWE takes a TNA guy they'll make the TNA guy earn his spot, showing fans that WWE is over TNA. TNA's actions show WWE guys come in & take over TNA, with ease, further proving WWE's actions which is helping WWE.
This is about Tyler Black winning the ROH, not Cena, who couldn't do half the moves these talented stars of ROH do. As for Tyler Black, he's the future of the WWE. I've said from day one how awesome he is and how he deserves to be ROH champ.
@Maximum007 i agree that hes a better athlete but cena is the main man in the biggest wrestling company! he sell the most tickets why because everybody has and opininon on him! tyler black is the future but cena is the now and present of wrestling! if people like him or not hes worldwide known everywhere not just in wrestling!

Everyone talks shit about Cena, but guys like Tyler Black and Bryan Danielson want to be the next John Cena or else they wouldn't be signing with WWE. I guarantee every Cena hater loved Hogan when they were kids, and they are just older now, so the superhero wrestler doesn't appeal to them anymore. WWE has a broad fan base and tries to appeal to everyone as much as they can. They brought in Daniel Bryan and now Tyler Black to shut you IWC asswads up, but apparently that's not good enough.
That finishing move looks really ridiculous, I do like his dual super kick finisher but he needs a more grounded moveset like a Cenas or Orton so he can have really high calibur matches rather than just do a bunch of pretty moves with zero substance

Plus this match for me is still MOTY. This was basically HBK/Taker (great storytelling and psychology) but with far far better wrestling and less finisher abuse.

you guys bash him going to wwe but regardless what he might be limited moveset wise the guy is going to get paid. i know its not all about the money blah blah blah but if your in his position and wwe came and offered you a contract youd be an idiot to pass that up. if wwe is so shitty then why did danielson go? and i have a feeling he will go back to wwe and kaval(low ki) is back in the wwe aswell these guys love wrestling but at some point they want to get paid well.
That and the WWE is currently looking for polished talent that can jump to the main roster rather quickly and ROH produces talent exactly like that i mean they took a chance on CM Punk and look how that has worked out for them

Tyler's good I enjoy watching him, but he's not as good as the guy he beat, there's a half dozen better guys on the ROH roster, and in his promos are probably the worst in wrestling where there isn't a language barrier.

@mark84j He takes finisher after finisher, death drop after death drop and still manages to kick out. If thats what the internet virgins consider selling, than i have nothing to say to that. Kurt Angle is a perfect definition of a protected wrestler in the WWE but once he is out on his own like in TNA, he is just plain terrible

@Cyrus4488 It's completely different with Cena, he took a DDT on concrete, then beat two guys, it happened to plenty of other people and they were out for 6 months! Yes, all babyfaces make comebacks, it's part of their job, but the EXACT same thing happens in every match! "Hit suplex, miss shoulder block, get beat down for 10 minutes, reverse a finisher, hit 4 moves of doom, get AA reversed, get beat down a little more, hit AA out of nowhere", wash, rinse, repeat.

@SCARFACE40214 wash, rinse repeat? Look at his match with David Otunga, he squashed the hell out of Otunga and Otunga looked so good playing the "Im getting my ass kicked" role. All of Cena's matches are not like you say they are. Look at his matches with Edge, Orton, Batista, etc. Plus THINK about it. Cena DID get levelled on concrete. he miraculously comes back and beats 2 ROOKIES. You know, its not that Cena is not selling that pisses people off. Its that people nitpick the fuck out of Cena

@Cyrus4488 Okay, I'm not saying EVERY particular match that Cena's in is like that, many of his PPV matches have been quite good actually, but 98% of all his matches on Raw happen like what I said before. And it IS dumb how he can get hit by a DDT on concrete (which would put ANY OTHER SUPERSTAR out for a at least 3 months), recover, and beat 2 "Rookies" as you call them, rookies that have beaten plenty of other big names in the WWE.

Austin would get his ass kicked the same way every Raw then does a few moves and WHAM! wins a match too! Same with Hogan. Dont forget these rookies also beat John Cena on separate occasions

you guys bash him going to wwe but regardless what he might be limited moveset wise the guy is going to get paid. i know its not all about the money blah blah blah but if your in his position and wwe came and offered you a contract youd be an idiot to pass that up. if wwe is so shitty then why did danielson go? and i have a feeling he will go back to wwe and kaval(low ki) is back in the wwe aswell these guys love wrestling but at some point they want to get paid well.

That and the WWE is currently looking for polished talent that can jump to the main roster rather quickly and ROH produces talent exactly like that i mean they took a chance on CM Punk and look how that has worked out for them

@kingstarscream95 i can see a face tyler black in a rivalry with a heel triple h ... i think that would be fucking epic and would be utilizing him in the right way ... i can see him as one of wwe's top talents by 2012 ... hell i could even see him as the face of wwe, in the same category as randy orton, john cena and triple h. if they use him right , wwe could be fucking huge for him and he could be huge for them. he, to me is main event on raw or at wrestlemanie material.

normally i would agree but WWE relies on the DQ more in the past few years more than i've seen from any company. if they don't wanna kill a push then the person will win/lose by DQ. Good example... Sheamus.

Tyler's good I enjoy watching him, but he's not as good as the guy he beat, there's a half dozen better guys on the ROH roster, and in his promos are probably the worst in wrestling where there isn't a language barrier.
