  • shame on you, you bunch of money hungry selfish people. these beautiful creatures deserve better than this. nature is to be revered, not kept prisoner. karma will come to bite you in the ass at some point but unfortunately it will be too late for these poor orcas.

  • Thats Keto right?

  • nvm tekoa :P

  • is loro parque where they have kshamenck? the transient orca? swima im all for captivity-- for you and others who defend exploitation of wildlife

  • the only orcas they have there are:

    Skyla

    keto

    tekoa

    kohana

  • quisas la mejor manera que sepodia usar a estos animales seria de modo mas educativo lo que asen es usarlas para entrenimiento, darles una vida lo mas natural posible, siendo que no todas las Orcas pueden ser liberadas, jejeje

  • Thanks for posting this!!!

  • stop usinng animals for human fun. fuck your video

  • Fuck yourself... Animals in captivity has soo many benefits that someone of your intelligence just doesn't get.

  • benefits hahaha, hey stupid, you know that orcas in captivity lives only a 10% of it complete life? you think get fun from animals is ok?

please read a little about nubb

  • First of that's not true in any way shape or form... And it's not about getting fun whatever the fuck that means. Trust me you want to debate our knowledge about orcas in captivity.. I'm all for it

  • Animals live longer under human care.. look up the stats

  • Actually, swimaboy17, Orcas can live well past 50 in the wild; while in captivity rarely do they make it past 25. Look it up. It just...sounded like you didn't know.

  • Trust me I got my stats..

  • Yeah but where!

  • Still waiting for those stats...

  • If you were into this you would know where to look up journals and so forth.. They have no predators, and they have round the clock vets taking better care of them than you would take care of yourself... that's logic a kid could see..

  • @swimaboy17 It's now been two years... still waiting for those stats.

  • @metridium.. I told you to look it up.. I'm not here to babysit.. I actually have a career where I get to help the species and take care of incredible animals while you sit at home spreading propaganda..

  • @swimaboy17 Then so much for the big talk ? ... will you at least tell us how you are helping the species Orca ? You've claimed here and on other videos that captive Orca live longer than their counter parts in the wild... clearly it was hot air. Thanks for finally clearing that up.

  • @metridium... Actually it's not.. I'm simply making a point that you are one sided and won't look into the information that points to the other side of the argument.. thanks for proving my point ;)

  • @swimaboy17 Just send me the information, I read every thing presented but you won't produce.

  • females can get pregnant starting the 8 years old of life, so if a orca lives 10 years or less in captivity, do you think they will get a better life? orcas in captovity are disposable :@

  • "starting the 8 years old of life" wow intelligent... Look at the average life-span recorded at all facilities. Look at the supreme health care... shit you're not even worth my time with an argument like that.

  • Your time is worth absolutely nothing, because you are a cruel idiot, so I would take not being worth your time as a compliment

  • Umm ok.. that made sense. This is why I don't get into these things, because of people like you who don't know anything about human care, and just want to assume things that coincide with their own beliefs...

  • exactly what is it that I don't understand. in my beliefs, orcas are wild animals, not pets, and should be treated that way, not trained. Training is discouraging them from behaving naturally, he only reason to do this would be for humans to charge money and profit off them behaving unnaturally. I guess I should look into what is in it for you and others who profit from their captivity, but i dont want to

  • Ok. Well almost all orcas under human care were now born there, and most cetaceans in human care are there because they stranded and couldn't survive in the wild. They are trained for husbandry purposes as well as to keep there minds stimulated. As far as unnatural behaviors go, I have personally seen our animals doing everything we do in shows on their own, so it's not like they don't enjoy it or that they find it unnatural to them. And if they were unhappy they wouldn't be repopulating ;)

  • Dolphinaria and aquaria routinely administer

prophylactic antibiotics and ulcer medication to captive

cetaceans.Bacterial infections are a common cause

of death in these animals. Pneumonia, which is generally

brought about by some other condition, such as stress

or a compromised immune system,is the most

commonly cited cause of death in the NMFSs Marine

Mammal Inventory Report. Naomi A. Rose PhD-2006

  • As far as profiting... We have to; otherwise, we wouldn't be able to take the best care possible of the animals.

  • Gee, it wouldn't cost you anything to let them live in their natural environment, but I doubt highly all profits get spent on them, obviously they don't, so please don't lie, they do you and others in the business far more good than youve ever done them

  • I feel like I'm talking to someone with the intelligence of a 5 yr. old... Many animals cannot live in the wild or they would die.. including all those who are now born at marine parks around the world. Secondly no not all profits get spent on them.. I never said that, in fact that's a great example of how you've twisted things in order to make them fit your view. If you only had a small insight or knew what you were talking about then I wouldn't need to have this convo...

  • Sea World Incorporated,

one of the largest and wealthiest captive display franchises, spends

a stated US$3 million a year on conservation-related projects, which

sounds like a large amount of money until one realizes that this is

less than one percent of the revenue generated by Sea World

Orlando alone. Naomi A. Rose PhD -2006

  • There is as much educational benefit in studying dolphins in captivity as there would be studying mankind by only observing prisoners in solitary confinement. - Jacques Cousteau.

  • You can send them an email and let them know what you think. It is important people let them know about what we think of keeping orcas in captivity and using animals to perfom silly shows. visit their website. Loroparque

  • why wood u put that poor orca in a box

  • They kept an orca in that tiny box! And then put it in a tiny tank so it can perform tricks!? These people are fucking scum.

  • yo tambien fui al loro parke xq soy de tenerife y el espectaculo de las orcas eran imprecionanteeee.

  • I wonder what the reason was to transport the orcas?

  • I think their new home is at the Loro Parque in Tenerife

  • Well duh...maybe Tenerife bought em lol.

  • It's usually for breeding purposes so that a healthy captive population is kept, which keeps parks from taking them from the wild like they did in the 60's
