  • No... No, NO!

  • I can't believe some people actually want to laugh at this. Sure they have funny accents... but the message is beautiful.

He could have done more, motherfuckers.

  • Saddest song ever! You guys have talent I swear it!

  • i could have done more

[ for the millions who couldnt make it in show business ] lolz

    but it was touching nonetheless

  • this was supprisingly touching.

  • im not sure if this is a serious song or not because of the end thing when it says "for all who couldn't make it in show business" so can some one tell me if this is a joke or not

  • @bergerINK I think they mean millions of jews that couldn't make it into show business since they were murdered by the nazis.

  • I need to see a play of this shit right now. ^^

  • 00:54. "I will handle presentation..."

  • I bet the story of Schindler is higly dramatized -.-, but Jon&Al are geniuses. Epic!

  • @Jzscrstsprstr I'm sure it is. But the core of the story is truth, a German stood up, risked everything. The real Schindler was a horrible businessman, divorced his wife, and died penniless...but he saved so many. A true, flawed hero.

  • @Adnama109 He was initially a womanizing war profiteer who took possession of a few jewish factories during the war. staffing them entirely by exploiting jewish labor. he was actually very profitable for a while. until his motivations changed. and he became more similar to the deified shindler we know of today. no longer working for profit but to get people out.

  • @senorcovert The story of Schindler is probably one of my favorite examples of human uprightness. I went ahead and coped this next bit from Wikipedia.

'No one knows what Schindler's motives were. He was quoted as saying "I knew the people who worked for me... When you know people, you have to behave towards them like human beings."[19]

  • @Adnama109 meaning no one knows why he decided to stop being a profiteer and become a savior. This bit is directly from his wiki too fits the exact definition of a war profiteer.

As an opportunistic businessman, Schindler was one of many who sought to profit from the German invasion of Poland in.

  • @senorcovert The chances of his story being told all around the world were so slim! Had they not found his brief case with the "List" inside, his heroism would not be so well known.

  • This is amazing. Good job

  • Schindler sounded like an old rabbi. I cried anyway.

  • Amazing...

  • Utter brilliance. It actually comes off as a believable musical song if there really was a Schindler's List musical.

  • so sad :-(

  • Thumbs up if the choir gave you goosebumps

  • sound like arnold doing schindler...

  • An absolute musical masterpiece! Reminds me of 'Les Miserables'.

  • This is so sad...

  • Im confused. I dont know if i should laugh or be sad.

  • @Robinhjartfors That's exactly how I felt!

  • @Robinhjartfors funny note: toddlers rarely laugh because they are amused, when they do it's usually because they are horrified, struck with despair or horridly uncomfortable with the situation in general. A lot of us never grows out of this behavior but fools ourselves that we are having fun because we are taugth Laughter=enjoyment. *the more you know*

  • @Robinhjartfors I agree. Not a single funny lyric, yet there's the joke printed at the end. The tone of the song seems highly melodramatic, yet poignant, and the singer is imitating Liam Neeson!

  • I love your videos. Most are very funny, but this one was so well made and brought out the feelings of the story and what that good man did for all those innocent people. Thanks.

  • @legolambs love all your vids, please do game of thrones :D

  • A Great Man! A Great Person! Schindler was something more ... He was an Angel!!!

    Greetings from Greece :)

  • I can't decide whether this is funny vid or a total tearjerker.

    Either way, it's terrific.

  • I expected this to be a lightening piece, almost comedic, based on the other videos these guys they make. Man.

  • Germany descided that the raph fiennes part is not available anymore.... can anyone tell me where to look?

  • I'm so fucking disappointed, in France, we can't see The Ralph Fiennes Part anymore... is there any way so I can listen to it elsewhere or something ?

It was one of my favorite from Jon and Al...

Well, in any case, good job for all your work guys ;)

  • Kimippsen, but it doesn't make you laugh.. it's sad and very respectful. It highlights the tragedy of the situation and the film. a good job. it's very moving

  • Absolutely the saddest and darkest chapter in the history of our country.

And surely one of the best movies ever made.

  • Looks like Act II falls under "Taboo" here in Germany, so ridiculous. If you want to watch it, use a proxy (e.g. w w w.atproxy.n e t).

  • Its hard to laugh at Schindlers List.. Unfortunately

  • This is truly why the internet was invented. We can go home now.

  • @DarthApoc

    Good comment, poetic almost.

    Worthy of this video.

  • Poor old Qui Gonn Schindler.

"Zis badge two, maybe three Chews"

  • The violin at the beginning... My god

  • I want to watch act II and it`s blocked in my country. Fucken youtube has no sence of humour. Please put it somwhere in net so we can watch it.

  • damn I thought this was going to suck but it was actually pretty good, even though the top comment ruined it for me, bastard

  • I tip my hat to you guys...unfortunately, Act II is blocked in my country (Germany ;P), apparently someone was a bit offended and cannot handle this form of tribute/satire/humor...

  • I think every single German was thinking "I could have done more" when they were informed of the camps when the war ended.

  • Now I understand why videos with Liam Neeson pop up under the ones from "Silence: the Musical."

  • I know this is kind of a parody but I almost cried...

  • i thought this would be very offensive, but it isn't it's really well done

  • someone once said, "Schindler's List is Holocaust: The Musical" because of how structured it was with it's storytelling, sets, props, and it's staging of it's actors, the fact that someone went to thorough lengths to orchestrate and organize a re-telling of an event such as the holocaust is amazing as well as absolutely ridiculous. So I commend legolambs for doing this video because it shows the other side of that double-edged sword of what Schindler's List is.

  • I love this almost as much as I love the movie. Fuck Schindler's List is such a good movie!

  • this and the robocop one almost made me cry. yes the robo cop one, poor murphy.

  • Great vid, by the way can you make a musical for Shawshank Redemption?

  • This is amazing!

  • this is brilliant

  • Im not a hero YES U ARE!!!!

  • Dude this is epic man! you deserve more views on this one!!!!

  • One of the most heartgripping movies out there and you acctualy captured most of it in song, kudos to you sir, this is more than I could've asked for.

  • "A factory run entierly by juice"

  • @Josefsaft The new fuel.

  • @Josefsaft i think saft means juice in german like orangesaft

  • @serazac25 It's funny that you mention it. My name is Josef and a few years ago I was studying spanish in school and my friend german. One day he tells me that "schosefsaft" (schosef is how Josef is pronounced in Spanish) means "orangejuice" in german (well, kind of, there is no exact translation of "saft" in english). It turned out schosef didn't mean orange at all, but my nickname became Josefsaft after that. A few weeks ago I realised what "Josefs aft" means in english.

  • The scene with Ben Kingsley and Liam Neeson reduced me to tears the first time I ever saw the movie. One of the best pieces of acting - and one of the best sixty seconds of film - I've seen in my entire life.

  • I just found this randomly and I have never seen Schindler's List but this is a great piece of work. You are a very talented person thank you for making this.

  • This really made me cry =-o Thank you for this!

  • This is really well done my friends.

  • Fucking laughing my ass off. 5*

  • I'm surpise shindler list never became a musical on broadway

  • damn that was well done haha

  • BRILLIANT!

  • Wow, I didn't think you could make a musical out of Schindler's list, I guess I was expecting something like the Schwarzenegger ones. But this was really touching!

  • @anjanmrao1 Yeah I agree. I thought this would be some sort of a mockery, but its sincere!

  • @cannonballkid parodies can be tributes, in the manner of an homage

  • Release the Kraken.

  • Thought it'd be better with Liam Neeson's normal Irish voice. Good though. :P

  • To the people who cry foul for this "not being funny", this is what one gets when making one brilliantly funny Arnold impression and then another... People will expect and demand more of the same and you'll turn into a one trick pony and be forgotten. I am happy to have seen more of your diverse talents, @legolambs, and you deserve the recognition for it.

  • @oldskoolgamertje wow people think this? whats so funny about jews being killed and living in fear from the nazi's? the vocals are amazing, thats all that truly matters

  • anyone else crying?

  • @RobotMice Yeah. I need to find Schindler's list and watch it.

  • @RobotMice Amazing video and song, I wonder how many germans during that time who didn't agree with the nazis felt the same way, that they could have done more? Maybe he doesn't feel he's a hero but to every jew he helped free, he IS a hero.

  • Comment removed

  • @RobotMice The scene in this song with the little girl in the red coat saddens me

  • @RobotMice im laughing if that counts

  • @RobotMice yes, yes i am

  • @RobotMice no

  • @RobotMice lol wut

  • @realmitKO Did you watch Schindler's List? Because this musical actually follows it well. The humour is slight here, and it doesn't make the video. Instead, it's emotional, with the humour keeping it light. And I don't doubt the makers' knowledge of the Holocoast or of Oskar Schindler. Especially since, you know, it's Liam Neeson who performs this.

  • @realmitKO

When it comes to comedy - nothing - NOTHING AT ALL - should be sacred. This is not insulting the film and ESPECIALLY not the War and deaths! You need to grow a sense of humour.

  • The choir is fucking amazing.

  • oh no..... oh no.... oh jesus god. I sink into deeper circles of hell every time I laugh. It was worth it.

  • Just saw the film again, first time since 1993.

I must say, good film but this video is better.

More emotional and gets the message of a changed Schindler across much better.

  • for the MILLIONS...who cannot make it in show business... ROFLMAO! u guys r goin to hell for that bit....and ill be right there with ya for laughing at it.

  • Schtan.

  • I hope you do more (videos)

  • This is pretty dang amazing.

  • This fucking rocks

  • Truly beautiful.

  • Ha ha ha! Very good!

  • aleman de la misma mierda, crees que esto fue una broma? eres un imbecil, ...

  • Brilliant

  • It's difficult to grasp the suffering that went on during the holocaust but this was a really tasteful, fitting tribute to an amazing piece of cinema.

I'm glad I chose to watch this.

  • It's kinda funny, true and beautiful

  • @stevinatornl How is this funny?

  • I think I just orgasmed to this?

  • @elvishskills i live off the philosophy that life is suppose to be a struggle, mankind should learn to appreciate luxury and living, and through that struggle this can most be easily done, and by the age thing you're one to talk, and the way it sounds it seems like you're defending being ignorant like that, laughing at what was the misery of millions, i honestly can't stand that, i may not be fully developed but i know what the hell i'm talking about

  • @elvishskills no one deserves easy lives, and those people i'm talking about, all those being ignorant, chances are they did have easy lives and don't appreciate it, only way i can explain how they can be so ignorant, i may not know much now but i've learned enough to know how life should be valued, and who are you to criticize me so much? you don't know me

  • @RobotMice true, sorry, it's just crap like that is so intolerable, and makes me so angry, but still people like that, they don't deserve their easy lives, never learning to appreciate life through the struggle, maybe if they'd appreciate it they'd realize what they're laughing at

  • @TheeProjectTank

you're in high school, the real question is who are you to say who deserves easy lives or not? have you gotten to know every single person that deeply to really make that judgement? you still have a lot of growing up to do, so quit talking out of your ass.

  • @elvishskills i'm sorry if i'm coming back at you a little jerk-like, but i'm going to stand up for my opinions, that's kind of what the internet's for, you don't have to agree with me, just respect my opinion, and who knows in a couple of years when i've aged more i might regret it, then again maybe not

  • @TheeProjectTank Hoo-ah! A man after my own heart who uses reason, respect and spellchecks his responses. The internet needs more people like you , mate.

  • damn... this makes me hate myself for ever laughing at an holocaust/nazi joke...

this inspires so much emotion in me, mainly sadness and guilt for mankind ever doing this, but i actually can't stop myself from laughing, not because this is funny, but because of its brilliance... i go to high school, and i see this kind of intolerance and ignorance all the time... it makes me angry... "i could have done more" i should have punched those intolerable bastards

  • @TheeProjectTank Using violance for that not the answer

  • do INDEPENDENCE DAY

  • God when people sing with him, like the chorus made me cry

  • this is really amazing (and quiet moving too!). you should do blade runner (:

  • Do Twins

  • I don't know why, call me crazy, but I can't laugh at the holocaust.

  • It's sad but it's so beautiful :')

  • omg you need to do x-men!

  • Predator was really funny. This one is kinda sad. YES! Do the Matrix!!

  • I choose to believe that Liam Neeson performed this song.

  • brilliant!

  • The portion at the end when the chorus starts up is poignant and bittersweet. Im sure the actual Schindler would be very moved by this

  • honestly excellent. you actually SHOULD write these musicals, bring some originality back to hollywood lols. DO JURASSIC PARK LOLS

  • excellent. also great impersonation of liam doing a german accent.

  • I'm honestly blown away. This is legitimately moving. You guys are honestly genius.

  • I am actually moved by this video, and I'm not easily moved.

  • This is actually quite moving.

  • Funny (the voice) and moving at the same time.

    This is brilliant, absolute quality.

  • This song was tragic, heartbreaking, and very deeply moving. I myself have not seen Schindler's List but this song is something from a stage version of it. I am glad you chose to give this song a serious tone, and yes I do agree that many people deserve to get into the big time.

  • Actually kind of moving. I was worried.

I was thinking it would be silly, to the tune of the Schindler's List theme, like:

Steven Spielberg made a movie; it turned out alright

He could afford color film but he chose black and white

Amon Gothe was a Nazi; he'd shoot you for nothing

Oskar Schindler, he was good; the Jews gave him a ring.

  • can you please produce a real musical on this it would be amazing

  • if you hadn't used the stens, this would of been despressing

  • 11 People are Nazi's

  • Fucking Amazing!!! You guys are brilliant!

  • i didnt want to see this because i thought it would be distasteful but my god this is both hilarious and moving

  • nice! what was this shot on?

  • Is it terrible that this brought tears to my eyes? I love it.

  • This deserves way more than 11k views !

  • I went into this hesitantly, fearing you would make a mockery of this.

    I was pleasantly wrong.

    Good job.

  • @hawkteflon Look up 'schindlers list romantic comedy' if you wanna see this movie get shat on.... I challenge you not to laugh though

  • I've seen the original movie back in high school, and watching this and thinking about what the movie symbolized and how this works, beautiful man. I normally watch your videos to make myself laugh, but when I watched this, Man, I was brought to tears. Thank you for creating this and sharing.

  • Somehow, this is funny but doesn't ruin the tone of the film. Bravo!

  • Fuckin ayy these songs are killing me Toooo funny i feel like an a-hole though

  • Damn...this is very good. Hope to hear something new :).

  • I want the lyrics for the choral parts!

  • Hey guys you really made me cry. this is so brilliant

  • touching

    how heartfelt

    was surprisingly

  • Reminds me of the group Divine Comedy, who I very much like :D

  • Comment removed

  • This is good

  • ACT THREE SHOULD BE A DUET WITH THE TWO.

  • Love the use of the choir at the end. Also love how you work the falling 5th from the soundtrack into the accompaniment. Conan was awesome, but I'm glad you're doing more serious music...it's great!

  • did liam actually perform this?

  • @dumbass1504 Of course!

  • @legolambs Sarcasm. Why do I sense it?

  • @dumbass1504 Because it's a stupid fucking question. Truly worthy of your screenname.

  • @legolambs the song?

  • @dumbass1504 Did you know they removed the word gullible from the dictonary?

  • @dumbass1504 your youtube name is appropriate.

  • @dumbass1504 HAHAHAHA, yea dude in 2010 Legolambs got Liam to take a break from the commentary of Taken to do this!

  • @dumbass1504

Nope - but it's beautifully done! Brilliant!

  • Wow. Just wow. I mean I've absolutly loved all your videos, but this one really takes the cake. The fact that you can really capture the feeling of that moment in the movie by using those lyrics and that score is really amazing. And it really shows the talent you guys have by taking these films and making the music for them. I also really like the fact that you did music to a dramatic film and I'd like to see more of the same. Really, really great stuff. I recommend Munich and Unbreakable.

  • the best movie ever

  • You guys never cease to surprise and amaze. Reminds me of Stephen Sondheim's Evening Primrose.

  • Geez, I half expected to be offended, but that was actually really touching. I really have a very hard time watching this film, but this video was very well done. The lyrics were great, the clips were well used, and the singers were fantastic. You guys really should write a full out musical for some of these films. I think you guys could pull off something really fantastic.

  • @Freeden I completely agree with you.
