Funny that a simple thing like a bassline, gives that many problems, i know it from myself i hate making basslines, but it really is the bass that makes the hole song, so i try to learn it from everywhere, been sampling in 15 years, but now im more tryng to compose everything myself, and its always the bass that gives me the truble. You can take a look around my channel one day,
DUDE!! THANK U MAN!! This Actually got me thinking now cuz i never make my beats with bass but its goonna be hard to go back and make beats to all of them but it makes such a big difference.... i still need help cuz i use fruity loops...
C Major and A Minor (Natural) use only the White keys.
This was a cool vid and I've never tried to find the key of a song that way but I do think it's kind of the long way. Only because if you find the right key (playing each note including sharps and flats up and down the keyboard) you'll know EXACTLY what key that original sample was in. You don't have to fool with the pitch... semi-tones or fine tuning at all. Then you just play any other instruments in the correct key and BOOM done!
Minor or major keys do not determine if you use white or black keys. It is the actual key that the song is in, minor or major, that determines what notes are in the key. Only one minor and one major key don't use black keys (sharps or flats).

@djzodiackillah I don't care about the haters either lol. Infact, I find it funny when someone hates on a "tutorial video" in general.

if you think the song is in a minor key then do your method, but start with the A note. A minor uses all the white keys. i think
