"Sonic the Hedgehog 4" next to "Sonic Fan Remix" is a hair taken for all fans of the blue hedgehog. I am very disappointed that Sega did this game, the truth is that I expected more from them and not only that but even serves as a sequel to "Sonic 3".
Almost forgot to look at them recomindo videos of "Sonic XG" to be continued "Sonic 3" is very well done. I highly recommend it.

I seriously don't understand why Sega doesn't stay the course through the comics, and put that into the games. Sega's a mess! Sonic's supposedly married to Sally Acorn, along with two children. But in the video games Sally is not even mentioned, and Amy is still chasing Sonic to be his girlfriend! Get with it Sega!
Man, this game was so bad they couldn't even make a deceptive montage. Note the lack of momentum at 0:52 and poor vertical camera tracking at 1:00.
Also, "the boss fights are gonna be a bit different this time around." WELL I SHOULD HOPE SO!! This is a new game, lest you forget, not just yet another port (or is it?). Honestly, from Needlemouse's "ALL-NEW Adventure" to this...this is just pathetic.

Note: Sonic 06 was bad because the fanfags wanted it to come early, and being kind enough to do so, SEGA made a stupid decission to put it out earlier and unfinished, for US! Games like Sonic Heroes weren't quite done well either, but because SEGA wanted to get it on shelves since everyone was happy to hear about it.They care, wake up guys.
Sidescrolling Sprite games are awesome, 3-D sidescrolling works SOMETIMES Particularly in the case of Megaman X8. That game worked because the whole Megaman franchise was based around sidescrolling action. 3-D games are good too, Sonic adventure 1 & 2 for examples, Sega should learn a bit more about what the Fanbase actually WANTS not just make something and expect everyone to love it. A Third Sonic Adventure Game comes to mind too...
call of duty and gears of war do not have good gameplay sorry. Flashy pretty graphics, nice visual explosions? of course. gameplay groundbreaking and innovative? hell no.
I think it would be better if SEGA would release all the episodes toghether at 1 retail version with full price than breaking the game to bits and selling those bits seperately.

I do have a Wii, sadly most of the Nintendo Licensed games such as Galaxy, DK Country, etc. are the only games I see myself still playing in the years to come. I really like the idea of Nintendo bringing back the old concepts to life. The new Kirby to me is one the most and best innovative games out there today.
OK Sonic 4 I think could have been a whole lot better.
PROS: Nice graphics & physics, game play overall is good. backgrounds are lush and gives a feel that it's in the distance, the originality of the 2D aspect that made sonic popular has returned.
CONS: Feels like I'm playing a revamped version of Sonic 1, 2 & 3, I expected fresh new acts with new bad guys and new boss battles. If I had wanted to play the levels that were in Sonic 4, I could have fired up my Sega Mega Drive 2 instead.

Super Mario World. Super mario bros. Were my favorite. I played allot more. But those aren't my favorite fo the Snes/Nes

OK Sonic 4 I think could have been a whole lot better.
PROS: Nice graphics & physics, game play overall is good. backgrounds are lush and gives a feel that it's in the distance, the originality of the 2D aspect that made sonic popular has returned.
CONS: Feels like I'm playing a revamped version of Sonic 1, 2 & 3, I expected fresh new acts with new bad guys and new boss battles. If I had wanted to play the levels that were in Sonic 4, I could have fired up my Sega Mega Drive 2 instead.

Get a sega genesis emulator, download sonic 1 sonic 2 and sonic 3 + knuckles.

I still think sonic 2 can't be beaten. The music, the game feel and gameplay were superb. I wonder how this will match up, not liking the aerial strike move or whatever it is, it looks a lot easier to kill stuff and thats no fun.

Too bad it isn't released for PC. I don't own any of the consoles it will be released on and i don't plan on getting them. Playing sonic on a nintendo or PS3 is like cheating on your wife.
