NOT TANGO. Why not call it a polka? Certainly not tango music, no tango walk or embrace. Why not call it clog dancing? Maybe it's nuevo square dancing, but it's not tango.

Rebecca is a phenomenal dancer. She is on the top of my list of great tangeuras. I have danced with her; and I'm happy to report that she is as good to dance with as she is to watch.
Nuevo tango is one of my favorite dances. However, I'm concerned that some of the "sportster" type of dancers (who are attracted to Nuevo) are losing the romantic and sensuous aspects of tango. They dancve like athletes ...not like three-minute lovers.

Rebecca is a phenomenal dancer. She is on the top of my list of tangueras. I have danced with her and I'm happy to report that it is as much of a pleasure to dance with her as it is to watch her.
Nuevo tango is my favorite. I find much of the traditional tango to be very redundant and not so inspiring for improvisation. However, I'm a bit concerned that some of the "sportster" dancers who are drawn to Nuevo, do not seem to be interested in the sensuous and romantic aspects of tango.

It seems that Rebecca cannot dance with shoes or heels. Too bad! It made this look like a modern dance rather than Tango.

Wow!! This guy is amaaaaaazing. I'm in love yet again. And the choice to dance to Erik Satie.....beautiful...loved it!! I could do without the barefoot attire. That looked rather painful actually. If I could have just one dance...& if I were tall:( , I would be very happy.

whilst i dont really like much of the new style tango moves generally i must admit i enjoyed the feeling in their dance very much. emotionally charged!
