@singingfreak89 - that is the nastiest thing ive ever seen :( a really feel for u aswell! stay strong & just remember that one day you can get away from ur parents, start your own life & u wont have to listen to anyone telling u things that arent true :) it wont last forever :) just think past it although i know how much that must hurt its an awful thing to hear! this is such a great song aswell i have to mention that :D lol x

@singingfreak89 omg hon try to keep ur head up, beleive me I know what ur going through, am always put down and insulted by my parents and things will never change no matter how much i try to get them to understand, but this song and Christina Aguilera, all her songs have helped me somewhat... that is one of the many reasons she is my favorite singer, but knowing that someone out there is going through what you are going through makes it a bit better, hope i helped, we can talk if u want :)

This is how exactly me and my dad have been for as far as I remember, I'm an adult now and still hurts like hell, always walking on eggshells so terrified to fail, I moved out and moved on but still hurts like hell and can never turn my back on him. We don't talk as much and I wanna say that word "DAD" with a strong feeling but i can't.

Christina is my idolll and I love this song .. b.c most ppl can relate to it so well as well as her many other songs and I also have dreams of becoming a singer and she is such a big inspiration.. that I hope to be come as big and great as she has in her career. I am also dealing with a situation tht I know most prolly dont deal with... with my family.. well parents..

@armygurl00 I think it kinda maybe had to do with her father.. who was abusive towards her and her mother.. and i think she means shes stronger than ever now.. tha she has gotten past all the hardships she had to deal w. b.c of him.. but idk i think this song can fit into many situations

@1978tricia um, it doesn't matter if it was written 5 months ago, & all those vows don't matter when your so called " husband " puts you down like what this song is saying, you know, HUSBAND, as in the man that will protect through anything & everything & loving you ti'll death do you part, not him actually the one hurting you, thats the difference, & that goes for all the women that get abused by their " husband " aswell, just because of all those vows, doesnt mean you acrually stay with him
