Jing Jong(JG) sucks. they ARE a clone company. JG clones Tokyo Marui... one of the best brands on the market, so it doesnt get better. id rather have a Double Eagle $40 gun, because its crap, but you dont have to spend as much money on the crap your buying. i had a JG, broke in a month, my bro still has a JG, broke like five times. they SUCK echo 1 is much better

in my opinion you should always get a few extra magazines with any AEG you plan to be using in skirmishes. make sure you get the shorter length magazines though because the long mags that are used today were NOT used with the M16A1 and they look really silly, but hey, who am i to tell you what to do.
true, in 83 they had the larger capacity magazines, but i don't think they did when the rifle first saw action in vietnam, which is the time period i was referring to. but, i could be wrong ofcourse.

This is not an M16, an M16A1 or an "M16VN". It is an M16A3 with triangle heat guards. I hate that Echo and JG were so lazy that all they did was slap on those handguards and call it that.

Not everybody liked the M16A2 having 3 round burst. So they created the M16A3, which was basically an M16A2 upper receiver (with a fixed NON REMOVABLE carry handle) with an M16A1 lower receiver.

Echo 1 and JG are pretty much the same, im fairly certain the guns are made at the same factories or something like that, there are slight differences, like different spring strengths, the color of the receivers, and probably a few other minor details. personally, i would go echo 1 because JG's version has an awfully green/light gray receiver. just my 2 cents.

This gun isn't as real looking as the CA m16vn, I have a CA m16vn and it looks like the real thing, plus, why would echo1 put a bird cage flash hider, usually they have the 3 lug flash hider

This is not an M16, an M16A1 or an "M16VN". It is an M16A3 with triangle heat guards. I hate that Echo and JG were so lazy that all they did was slap on those handguards and call it that.

Actually no. Airsoft companies get so much wrong.
The M16A2 is semi automatic and three shot burst. IT has a non removeable carry handle.
The M16A3 is a semi and full auto w/ non removeable carry handle. (Often mistaken for an M16A4 with A2 heat shields)
An M16A4 is the only one in the series with a removable carry handle.

@YoshiLover2012 No it doesnt. That is a very common misconseption amoung airsofters. The M16A3 is a fully-automatic variant of the M16A2. The M16A3 is often incorrectly described as the fully-automatic version of the M16A4 or an M16A2 with a Picatinny rail.

ACTUALLY, if you would do a little research you would see that I am right.
Not everybody liked the M16A2 having 3 round burst. So they created the M16A3, which was basically an M16A2 upper receiver (with a fixed NON REMOVABLE carry handle) with an M16A1 lower receiver.

@strangledparrot i shouldnt have to prove you wrong because anyone who knows jack shit about firearms knows that the A3 was the first to have a removable carry handle, its common sense for anyone who owns a gun. but just to make you happy i guess im gonny have to prove you wrong. go to bushmaster website and look at the m16 listed, it shows to models the first is an M16A2 with a non removable carry handle, the second is a M16A3 with a removable carry handle.

Airsoft companies, and often companies that make AR15s adopt the military A3 designation to allow them to have another product name.

Echo 1 and JG are pretty much the same, im fairly certain the guns are made at the same factories or something like that, there are slight differences, like different spring strengths, the color of the receivers, and probably a few other minor details. personally, i would go echo 1 because JG's version has an awfully green/light gray receiver. just my 2 cents.

This gun isn't as real looking as the CA m16vn, I have a CA m16vn and it looks like the real thing, plus, why would echo1 put a bird cage flash hider, usually they have the 3 lug flash hider
