  • Obviously a Marathon!!?? I had to cut off and move my front engine mounts because the fan shroud was hitting the passenger front one. Is that 16 smaller than the 18 demensionally ? Love it man... Good job!

  • Nice............ :) you probably need to put some washers on the bottom because I think when you started it it moved back and forward

  • hi how are you i have VW Engine Car can i use or edit this engine To Work In My Air plane plz tell me i waiting you or any one give me any information plz

  • at idle it sounds like a harley

  • I've been thinking of building a hi-tech go cart and using a Briggs twin. Just probably with mods like strenghtening the crank, cam and the valves, and getting it up to 60-80hp @ 7000rpm :) That with a small lightened 4 gear automatic gearbox.

  • u stOoooooooooopid!!!. how many cubic inches dAt big block got? dat chevy soundz good boi.

  • @boobugn69 are you fucking stupid???

  • what year is that golf cart i need that rear end

  • 7 am? thats one way to wake up your neighbors lol, and awesome engine

  • that is a sick idle

  • @guitargod66 hey i know you

  • @cobraman897 hey youre in the class next to me

  • @guitargod66 pshhhhh no way man that can be possible...

  • @cobraman897 well last week

  • @guitargod66 last week what. WHAT!! I must know tell me.

  • backfire at 0:22?

  • @scarrmakerz i saw that too, looked like it came through the carb

  • Should've put a big ol' Solex carburetor from a 1600cc VW Bug on it, with a K&N air filter. That would've gave it some OOMPH. Nice pipe work though, man. Pipe bending and beautifying and the art of air flow intrigue my interests.

  • sounds like a hemi v-twin

  • is it finished

  • Yes, it is finished and it has been sold.

  • @sad671 is that a lawnmower engine???

  • if you plan on doing anything with it i would clean up the wiring a bit

  • Seriously??? The cart was in the process of being built. Maybe you should have asked before you commented...

  • @sad671 sorry but ive seen shit on youtube and it looked like a drunk person did the wiring and ive seen shit on youtube that looked like someone with ocd did the wiring

  • what cam is in it?

  • I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT A MY CAMP GROUND

  • Where did you get those headers?

  • The headers come from a manufacturer that I deal with. they are not a direct bolt on and you have to modify them to fit. They are in fact polished stainless steel and they will increase the HP some...

  • That sounds exactly like a harley, no joke. What did it take to sound like that, a big cam?

  • Yes Sir! It's a performance cam for Briggs and Stratton.

  • @sad671 How big is the exhaust?

  • I beleive the exhaust is 1 1/2" and they dump into a 2" collector.

  • I beleive the exhaust is 1 1/2" and they dump into a 2" collector.

  • You have to do any head mods to make it work or does stock work fine?@sad671

  • The heads are completely untouched from the factory.

  • AWSOME!!!!@sad671

  • Did you do engine mods or does it just sound like that with the exhaust? thanks

  • Yes, I did the engine modifications myself. The engine has the same sound with the exhaust on, but it's a biy quieter. It's a big cam that makes it THUMP...

  • @sad671

    Did you buy the cam?

if so where did you buy it?

  • I sell golf cart parts

  • Tell me how did u rig up that centrifical clutch? Did bolt right on or did mods have to be done?

  • Actually the clutch is not rigged at all. It's a high performance Salsbury clutch that bolts right up.

  • o no way! where did u get it?

  • its called a CVT

  • u sound like ur from eastern canada

  • a 16 hp vangaurd isn't considered a small block v-twin, not bashing you or anything this engine sounds very sufficient.

  • can you tell me how and where you had the pipes made or what they came off of?

  • The header was purchased from Stretch Plastics. It had to be modified slightly to work on this engine. It was origonaly designed for a 24hp honda.

  • is there a web site or anything that i could check them out? im guessing they make custom pipes? could you tell me the price range of about what you paid?

  • Sounds like a Harley.

  • time is out? that was sure a bad ass back fire lol your filter will blow out if that happens often

  • nah thats caused by the high prof cam.

  • icanhas more video of runs pleze? kthnxbye!

  • That is what I'm looking for ,thanks for all your help.

  • I beleive this is the only cam they offer and it is the one that I purchased. It doesn't have a smooth idle and you can definetly hear the overlap in the profile at low RPM's.

  • I guess that you wish that I would quit asking you so many questions but Cartspartsplus only shows one performance cam and it state it provides smooth idle and that is not what I want.

Is this the same cam that you have, or am I looking in the wrong place? I already have an engine I just want to turn it up a little. thanks for your help .

  • I got the cam and rev kit from Cartspartsplus. They can sell you an entire engine if you need one.

  • Where did you get your cam at? Can you provide the cam name or profile and a part number? I would like to build an engine that sounds like that for my own cart !!!!!

  • Man that thing sounds great ,like a big block should. What HP motor is it ? What modifications have been done to it?

  • I'm glad you like it. The Briggs and Stratton started out as a 16hp Vangard. I added a performance cam and rev kit. Let's just say it HAULS!!!!!
