  • God I love this game, got it for my birthday by my brother.

Too bad they don't make games like this, or Phantasmagoria anymore.

Spade and Marlowe. I should play this game again to see if there's any other references that I didn't get when I was that young (there are probably a lot of them).

  • This was one of the best games I ever played. And I've played a lot of games at that time

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that plays when the title credits come up?

  • i remember one called Dark Side of the Moon

  • This game was amazing for it's day! i remember playing this and thinking how can video games get any better. I think the only thing that comes close to the tex series is mass effect, story wise. I'm off to buy 3 card to midnight, if any of the big finish devs see this, please bring back tex and finish it off.

  • OMG... Brings back memories...

I remember a friend of mine had got it just before me and he made me drool because he made me listen to the intro over the phone! :p

The music for this game was just perfect...

We rarely see any interactive-movie type games anymore... Last one in date I know of is Heavy Rain on PS3..

  • interesting way the earth rotates. :P

  • The music for this game is awesome!

  • God i love this game. I bought it when it first came out, was 13 or 14 at the time. Still have the game but tried to run it on Dosbox and cannot get it to work. Damn Vista.

  • I just found out I still have this game! Never beat it -- I was 6 at the time I got it and couldn't figure out anything... Is there anyway I could install this game on XP or even Vista? Could you tell me how? Thanks!

  • DOSBox is the program you need. It WILL work with DOSbox, so there ya go :)

    bill

  • if they are going to keep making movies from games, this needs to be one of them.

  • Without any question, or shadow of doubt. However, the audience is not interested in sofisticated sci-fi noir films. Pitty :(

  • as long as it goes with the game unlike most movies i still have my version of the game... well my dad does but i haven't played it since go knows when. LONG LIVE MS DOS

  • personally I'd rather see The Pandora Directive (the game after this) as a movie over this one, but they'd both be fuggin' GREAT! :)

  • I've making a longplay of Tex Murphy: UAKM for those who wish to view it. So far, the first 3 days have been posted.

  • GREENSCREEN FOR THE WIN!!!

  • What the hell did I do with this game

  • MY GOD!

    I remember this game!

It's been years since I even saw this, and feels just like yesterday. This game blew away with everything it had... graphics, sound, control, EVERYTHINg was almost perfect except the acting of most characters!

  • i want this game ! now!

  • I tried the first two once.

I had to stop playing them, they were so un-intuitive.

Still had inventory puzzles and conversation paths, but it was waaaay harder to figure out what to do next. Even the hint systems were un-helpful.

I think i liked Pandora Directive better, though.

Which reminds me, I still need to continue filming this....

  • "The Forces of Evil are Persistent sir"

    Hillarious!!!

  • Its a shame that this game series is almost forgotten today, I still consider the last three Tex Murphy games among the best of all time.

  • totally agreed
