if you put a normal clear topcoat on after the blue color dried, it wouldn't change… i think this tip is great for using colors other than white...

Just a tip, i would wait until the first coat dries first? so do all your nails at the same time then go back and do the second coat, and then before removing the tape do the color and wait, then do the top coat.. it just works so much easier like that and will be quite beneficial to you also a lot less time consuming.

if u start off with the shimmer polish, wait for that to dry completely then use the tape and add the colored polish then it wouldnt change the color. and then add a top coat over that, this way u still get the shimmer coat on the nail wihout discoloring the tip :)

so if you use a smimery color do white or a light color and if you do a color use a normal clear coat i do this all the time and i always do a diff color every time and sometimes for ever nail and a tip for thos out there watching not that shes wrong or anyhting but you can use a color base coat let it dry then aply a clear coat let it dry then aply another clear coat let it dry then when you put the tape on it only pulls off the top clear coat wich you cant notice.looks fine after final clear

i don't think putting the bottom coat first then putting the tape on it would help... o.o

XD I think I know what you mean but I'm not so sure. I'm white as white can be and I've always had long, regular thumbnails... well... longer in comparison to... Megan Fox and her strange thumbnails. If you google about her thumbnails, you'll get the idea.

You can put a base coat on first. You just stick the tape to the back of your hand twice then put the tape on. I'm eleven and I can put rainbow colors on and make it shimmer
