May I ask what rendition of the divine comedy you are sighting? I find it easier to read then some of the others and I am interested in reading the wonderful literature. :)
This is the most emotional, the most romantic of all Tchaikovsky's works. I always wondered why "Chaikovsky" has "T" in front of the name. Makes no sense.
@Karen41872 Seeing as it's a transliteration from a different alphabet, it's just to do with linguistic fashion! It wasn't that long ago that everyone referred to a certain other Russian composer as 'Rachmaninoff'. Now it seems that every new recording spells it 'Rachmaninov'. There's no logic really!
I have had the pleasure of playing this and loved every moment of it. I knew the story but I never had access to the notes. This is a really wonderful series of videos and I appreciate you putting them up. TEN POINTS!
