hiya just wondering ive got some pc speakers with the green end that can fit an ipod on the end of it would they fit into this mixer as i am interested in getting it also do the red and white wires just plug into and ipod or something as i have got a phew of those wores please get back thanks
@djshamas This video was the second attempt/test that i made using the axis 9. Also not a pro lol. Been using axis 9 since a while but hadnt had the time to record more stuff on cam... only on audio.
Pionner is better? yes, I think so 2 but remember... price/range is very good...
very interesting this digital dj form of playing.I`ved Dj the Turntable way.at my age,I dont think I have the no how on this.I could try though..nice mix dude.
@singhboy101 I can´t scratch... but you can use the axis 9 to scratch... But nothing like real vinyl... and probably ttheres better material for scratching.
i recomend u get 2 axis 9s cos ther great they have built inn bpm co you can perfect ur remixes .. and if u end up selling them ull get a fuck load of money 4 them
If you never have worked with any object, only with the PC, i recommend you the behringer BCD-3000, it works with Virtual DJ and is very good to start at this.
I'm going to buy numark axis 9 at the end of the summer, i think is a good product to start without a PC.
*Sorry, i'm spanish and a children, i don't speak a very good english u.u
Hi. a pair of numark can cost from 550/600 euros to 800/900 euros, depending of the country you buy them. England, france and germany has the best prices.
thanks for the reply but do u know how much in canada because my friends is selling a 2nd hand numark axis9 for 600canadian dollars do u think its a good deal?
Price/range is very good. If you have more money to spend try other material such as pionner... but its more expensive and does not necessary means more quality atending to the price.
co to bylo za mix??? nebo to je video jen abys zamachroval,že máš dva CDplayery a mix? a vypálenou muziku? Kdo jí nemá,že jo? Ale určitě bych se s tím nechlubil
Really nice, now i am confused.... if i were to buy the same set as u ( the numark axis9s and the mixer...) how would i play music? could i just hook up the mixer to a speaker system or do i need more equipment.... and what mixer is that???
First of all, you need to have amplified speakers (or amplified sound card). Then, you just plug mixer cable on digital entry on the sound card and its done.

hey m8 i really like these cdj's there pretty kool about 2 get myself a pair in a few days by the way whats the name of the choons yr playing and could you recommend some more artists that make this typr of music
Hi. Nope. The speakers are amplified but the cable from mixer has to be connected to the soundcard.
Perhaps there are models that can do that directy to the speakers but they must be quite expensive... or else, instead of the soundcard, you can use an amplifier.
track list please!!! btw. would you recoment the axis 9to someone coming from a vinyl background? what are the pros and cons of the axis 9?(if any) message me or email me.
If you can spend more money then the cost of a pair of numark's, go for the pionner cdj 800, 1000 (mk2,mk3) depending of the amount of money you have.
If you just want to play some tunes at your house for party and training go for these.
your mixes are clean.i had a question the axis 9 description says its cdr compatible does that mean that it would play my mp3's that i burn on a cdr cd?sorry im new to digital dj'ing i want to get a pair but would like to know this first. hope you could help me out. thanks

1- do you recommend numark axis 9 (i haven't done any mixes yet, only some very amateur ones in virtual dj, so I'm not a pro, is it easy to learn)
2- do I have to make an audio cd? or is mp3 OK?

1- You stay very good with AXIS9, they're nice to start.
2- Yes, you have to make audio CD,
AXIS9 don't read MP3.
But if you want a CDJ who read's MP3, you can buy Pioneer CDJ 200 or CDJ 400
but they're to expensive.

Depends.
First of all, you need to have amplified speakers (or amplified sound card). Then, you just plug mixer cable on digital entry on the sound card and its done.
The mixer is a BST digital. French brand. Not the best brand of all but is quite good (medium average)

Axis 9 are very very sensible.
This video believe it or not was my second mix with these numark's.
Forget key lock. Just use pitch and the use the jog wheel to keep the bpm matched.
I would not advice this to new learners cause its tricky, altought pratice every day and you will see results believe me.
Like i said is others posts, best price/range pro-cd player in the market still.

hi. They play cd-r only.
They do not play cd-rw or mp3...
That means that you can burn cd.r and play them but they don't play re-writables or mp3.
To play mp3 you have other cdj's but they cost a lot more...
When i bought them, i thought that they played rw also... i was desapointed but attending to the price range, it a good buy.

I forgot another function.
In numark axis 9 you have another thing called keylock.
With this you can control the bpm's and keep it stable. this is also knowned in other cdj's as Master Tiempo.
I don't usually use it cause i think its not pretty accurate but it helps a little.
Read the manual to better understand the keylock function. :)
