That is the oh so beautiful L.A. river just east of downtown l.a. Tons of chase scenes from movies are shot down there, as well as music videos on the bridges that cross over the "river".
I shot the night stuff with Ektachrome and tri-x, on a canon 310-xl and a nikon r-8. the ektachrome, though the fastest color transparency i could find at the time, looks kind of milky, but the tri-x is great looking for night stuff i think, mainly for its high contrast black and white look while maintaining some detail in the mids. i also had a frezzi light mounted on the front of the bike for fill. thanks for the comment.
This video is awesome. I particularly like from 1:50-2:03. These shots are really interesting. Nice job.
