FOR KEL was made as a personal gift, and as a beacon; I needed to send a signal of hope and reassurance to Kel on that evening - by publicly and clearly making the statement in the end of the video:

"Todd is not right" - neither was he right with all the cruel mockeries and taunts he shot at Kel every day, nor had the right to mistreat Kel kid physically the way he did. And:

The complete song A HISTORY OF HOLES is the base of the follow-up video FOR US. The video here, FOR KEL, was an urgent personal message to Kel: To say that Todd was not right with what he did and said. It was important that day, to put this video up, so Kel SAW that statement of mine.

A week later, I made FOR US, as a statement and invitation to all of us, not to look away, but to be there if someone needs us.

And in both cases, this song was the ideal choice, for its lyrics, and music wise.
