If you have pictures y need to upload them to, to do that click preview and navigate to the url of your browser... I can make a video if you want, but the easy way is using hexedit if it is to hard send me a message and i will do it for you...
i created my site in blue voda using one of my domain names i host with blue voda.
when i extract my files and upload my files using front page, it keeps the url's of my domain i have hosted with blue voda. how can i change the url's to reflect my website i created in frontpage using a different domain name?
Thank you, for your help with converting bvp files to html.
I have two questions: Neither my notepad or word note saves as html, I can save it in a microsoft word document - will this work?
I am using office 2003 and do not have publisher, I have tried to find help on microsoft but cannot get answers. How can I publish files other than through publisher?
I just took a page that I created in BV and saved as .html instead of .bvp, (you have to manually change the extension) and then uploaded... it worked fine.
what you need to do is go to File->Preview in Browser. There should be a path in the address bar. The directory the preview files are saved in is: C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\Temp\preview\ . Those are where the pictures are that you need to upload into the same folder with the HTML file.
It wont work, stealing the code will only give you limited functionality. Most features and rollovers, buttons, etc...Will only work on a VodaHost account. BlueVoda needs a VodaHost server to function correctly.
negative, cause during the preview i can save the images, and upload them normaly, and were good to go, or go to, file, save page as, and it gets the images and the html, so the point is, it works on any host :), ahh and like your the official voda channel i want to say i love your software
It don't work for me either! None of the back round colors or images show up =( Can u make a video how to go in & edit it so it will work? Or does anyone know a website builder just like bluevoda that works for any host?
bluevoda works on all host, if u do what this video says, u can edit it on notepad, and yes the background does appear and u may have to put the images in the root folder so they can actually appear, there a lot of website builders like dreamweaver and WYSIWYG, and ok ill make a video on how to use it properly give me 2 days
well u need to mod some stuff, for example the images, are just like "whatever.gif" but u have to edit it so i can be "img/whatever.gif" img is the directory in you host, u can name it anything but ya thats the point
Blue Voda is an excellent Development tool and their fee's are not to bad $200 USD per yr.
Re: missing images.
save the template/site you are working on. Note that it is saved to: /my_documents/bluevoda folder?, all your images are in this folder. upload them to your web-server (simple).

easiest way for me..... Create a page...
Click preview
when your page previews right click on the browser....
Click view source.....

You'd still have to upload all your images and so forth to your control panel in whatever host co. you go with.
It would definitely be tedious the more pages you have though.

Thanks your method is much easier than others i have seen, cool.
