Alright. I'm a sophmore and we just did a unit on this novel. This retelling was really good, however, there was a couple points that I found to be incorrect. It was simply a trip into the city at Daisy's request for the hotel part. Also a couple other points but I can't seem to remember. Splendid summary though. Loved it. :)
i was bored just by watching this, no offense. I wasn't referring to your video, i was referring to the story. i can't wait to read this in my school now -__-
fuck english class. i hate having to do a fucking english project on this bitch ( f scott fitzgerald). if anyone can tell me where to get info on him please tell me. ive never been this pissed in school motherfuckin mrs. dunn and sweeney (english class)
Some of plot points were incorrectly summarised, but the animation was quaint and enjoyable, and the music was lovely. Was one of those music clips from Patch Adams?
what i got from this book is that appearances are deceiving and that social status doesnt mean shit and you cant hide what you really are so theres no point in faking/be youself, etc. and also that women will ruin you in the end and you cant live with them and cant live without them and you gotta know when to move on, and dont hang around with the wrong crowds. also jealousy is a bitch. include all those points in your book report and you will get an A+.
@harveystewart I thought this was a pretty good summary of the Great Gatsby, and I must agree with you, I would show no attention to someone going by the name of "PedoLouie".
im doin the great gatsby in english lit at the moment for my a-levels and I didn realli understand the narrative of the story that well, but now i do thanks to this......xxxx
lol quite a unique and creative way to retelling it... well I have no idea why people are criticizing your paint skills because isn't the content more important....
anyways, I found it quite interesting, great job :)
OK i get your wanted to do something different but atleast make it look good. You dont know how to use paint which was made very clear with this video. You also lack animation skills. But other than those two things i found it quite interesting.
OK i get your wanted to do something different but atleast make it look good. You dont know how to use keyboards which was made very clear with this comment. You also lack sentence-coherence skills. But other than those two things i found it quite interesting.
@harveystewart Ok I get you're trying to defend your movie but it's called constructive criticism. Also using bad grammar / spelling as a defense means that, not only do you sink to his level, but you also fail. "You dont know how to use keyboards which was made very clear with this comment." is an example of this as not only do you miss the apostrophe in "don't" but you also lack any punctuation to denote tone. I realise I am sinking to your level in this statement but I don't give a shit.
@harveystewart You fool I understand that you where copying him ironically but you could have at least improved upon his grammatical errors that you where so eager to flag.
It's not flash. It's paint and movie maker. Way to fail at recognizing flash. How hilariously ironic. Here's trick I use to recognize flash; it would be animated, not a slideshow.
Can someone explain to me why this is such a great story? After watching this I just don't understand what would make it so great. I'm not saying it isn't, there's probably just something that I am not getting.
No. Finding random videos on the internet to half-wittedly spew mispelled hate speech to overcompensate for your the fact that you're obviousy a closeted homosexual is for fucks with no life; you fucking dumbass redneck. Again, I made this a year ago for english class, and I would have forgotten it if it weren't for the people who compliment it nearly every week. Did you read the book?
