It was simply a trip into the city at Daisy's request for the hotel part. Also a couple other points but I can't seem to remember. Splendid summary though. Loved it. :)

what i got from this book is that appearances are deceiving and that social status doesnt mean shit and you cant hide what you really are so theres no point in faking/be youself, etc. and also that women will ruin you in the end and you cant live with them and cant live without them and you gotta know when to move on, and dont hang around with the wrong crowds. also jealousy is a bitch. include all those points in your book report and you will get an A+.
