We didn't have a great turnout that evening. Some very strong thunderstorms were rolling past us as we took that oath and also it was the same evening of the Texas High vs Arkansas High football game. The wife and I chose freedom over football. Thanks to CorbinKale for posting this, for it brings back a great memory.

Education in schools? I work within the school system. All they do is show movies. Children are indoctrinated with Hollywood values. Hollywoods version is the only history they know of. Hell, Walt Disney is still brainwashing children with his magic, long after he has died.

@MrGrumpyOldMan I decided to speak out for two reasons. Firstly, as an example for my kids to stand up for what they believe. When they get older, they will remember that I tried .
The second reason is so that my conscience would be clear. I intend to honor my Oath to the Constitution.
