Would you just throw any shoe in the back of your car knowing that there will be plenty of mis matched shoes, only one shoe, mismatching colors, the wrong size of shoe? The only reason I criticize this commercial is the Father Daughter commercial is off the charts excellent.

I don't get why people think all women love shoes. I mean I guess if I found a pair of matching shoes that fit me when it was raining shoes, I would take them, because hey...free shoes. But I don't LOVE shoes. I've had the same pair of gym shoes for over 2 years and a pair of sandals that I just bought because I just lost my last pair that was about 5 years old. It's not that I don't have enough money for more shoes, it's just that I couldn't care less about them.

It's a cute commercial, but I agree that the mismatched shoes and unknown sizes keeps me from enjoying it... As a marketer, I don't think this was a "great commercial." It certainly doesn't make me want to buy the truck (and I've only seen one on the road)... And in this economy, automakers can't afford to waste money on ineffective commercials... For entertainment reasons, I like it...
