3. By contrast, soldiers armed with rapid fire weapons were much more likely to have fired their weapons in battle. These conclusions suggested that infantry should be equipped with a fully automatic rifle of some sort in order to increase the actual firepower of regular soldiers.
2. They also found that the chance of being hit in combat was essentially random; accurate "aiming" made little difference because the targets no longer sat still. The number one predictor of casualties was the total number of bullets fired. Other studies of behavior in battle revealed that many U.S. infantrymen (as many as 2/3) never actually fired their rifles in combat.
1. In 1948, the Army organized the civilian Operations Research Office. Operations Research Office. Over 3 million battlefield reports from World War I and World War II were analyzed and over the next few years they released a series of reports on their findings. The conclusion was that most combat takes place at short range. In a highly mobile war, combat teams ran into each other largely by surprise; and the team with the higher firepower tended to win.
The point is to begin with a massive burst of fire, then gradually slow down. The first few seconds put the enemies faces into the dirt, the slower fire keeps them there. It is a shock tactic used by the US Military all the time, hell just watch some ambush videos.
TAPCO mag? YOU FOOL! Piece of utter SHET throw them in the trash! DO NOT rely on a tapco mag, i wouldn't. Commie steel surplus is everywhere and twice as good.
dude you are a fuckin bad ass i just got out of the AIRFORCE and i own a lot a AKM-47 and A RPK-47 i really like your video here very cool keep it up my friend and prepare the end if u can!!!!
yeah somewhere i read that even in ww2 that whenever they came in contact with the enemy that they were supposed to completely unload there first magazine towards the direction of the enemy, im guessing they were talking about the ppsh sub machine gun.
Although the quick rate of fire is awesome, Waaaay too quick for suppression fire. Unless you've got a buddy to cover you, it'd be way obvious when you run out of bullets.
@shodan1028 I should've stated that it's great for intial suppression / taking the initiative when frist contact is made.
You are right, though. If I wanted to suppress for a longer time frame, the fire rate would be lower (unless I had a crew served - then the crew served would do the suppression).
@millerusaf I think it looks great but WAY different than NY state, we have tons of lakes and trees everywhere and tons of parks etc. Not saying you don't buy I see videos from Utah and Montana and it looks like a desert. Montana is a place I would move to. I have heard many California liberals are moving there buying up property and that will ruin the area. I hate California libertards that are anti-gun. F california.
@nooksolo What you are talking about is one variation of moving forward/lateral. This is walking in a foot patrol then taking close contact and no cover is immediately available.
@millerusaf srsly, i can fire pretty damn quick...but thats mainly due to constant using of my right hand.....for totally gun related stuff..not fappin, not at all
@tmitch965 It's amazing the cone of fire at 100 meters this generates. Anything within a 6 foot by 6 foot area would be dead, and anyone close to that area would be running scared.
Multiply this by 3 riflemen, a grenadier, and a squad support weapon, and it's hell of earth. :)
