Ive checked out fire incs version.

Its awesome and all but meatloafs voice has more passion and more strength than the fire inc singer.

Well, it is true that they made it in a good version and the piano does add to their version of the song. But I'm missing the small details that are in Meatloafs version of the song. Not to say that Fire Inc, don't even get close in quality of singer.

This one, the Meatloaf version is the best. The sound(s) are articulated better than Fire Inc did. Also this one is much better quality until the Fire Inc cover is just commercial.

The Meatloaf version was first before Streets of Fire , This Meatloaf version is not very good ,not because of Meatloaf but ,because by the time it was recorded for S.O.F. the verse's had been rewritten & phrased in a different way, really the only thing thats the same is the bridge & chorus & The Streets of Fire version has that cool piano Bass line that totally makes this song

Fire Inc. was never a real band ,they were just a collection of Studio musicians assembled by Jim Steinman, who wrote this song . This version also has different lyrics. This is a Jim Steinman song like most of Meatloafs hits.

this music doesn't belong to them...the original is from FIRE INC. it's by far better than this...and i like a lot of meatloaf.

@hzkmg8 HUh, I happen to be a very huge fan of both Mr. FALCO and Meat Loaf and NO, Falco and Meat Loaf are two different persons, and FAlco was Austrian and you can´t compare theese two people. Meat Loaf has this very loud Kinda screaming voice and Falco had a very soft voice.... Falco was a pop singer and Meat is a true rocker.

@FogBuffy Got news for you, your right Meatloaf ain't no Diane Lane, because Meat can sing a note. Lane was dubbed for that Movie by Laurie Sargent and Holly Sherwood. All Lane did was a Milly Vinilly lip-synch.

i prefer meat loaf this is amazing is more rock and in my head this is how it has to sound no dissing fire inc but is more pop the only thing missing is the piano but meatloafs voice is fantastic

As a Meat Loaf fan, I was amazed when i first heard Pandora's Box; after reading the high rated comments here, I thought my face would be rocked off by Fire Inc. Sadly that diddn't happen. Their sound is quite deaf, if you know what i mean. And believe me I wanted to like them...

Fire, Inc did it much better. This version is horrible not to mention the only part of this version that is in Fire, Inc's is the chorus. The rest of the lyrics are not even the same!

What the HELL did he do to this song???? I just found this version, and I...what...just...holy crap. I don't mean to offend anyone, but this version is complete rubbish compared to Fire Inc's. The piano isn't there AT ALL and overall it sounds like it was churned out by a machine. The only word that I can think of to describe it is...dirty. It's like someone took the amazing original and dropped it in the mud. The Fire Inc version is one of my favorite songs. This...I just died a little inside

You know, it's weird. Fire Inc. did it in a really Meat Loafy style and it's actually better than Meat Loaf's version. That's fucked up, right there. Not dissing Meat Loaf though, he's awesome. Bat Out of Hell was one of my first albums.

I think this version is the best! I'm a self-proclamied Meat Loaf fantatic but after listening to Fire Inc's version I still think this is better plus one of Meat's best!!
