Help!!! ..Can any one out there, please explain how to remove parts of a loop and replace them with , say, a sample from another track. I'm using Logic 8 and I've imported a song that I like, but it has certain small parts I don't like. I've managed to get the loops affected onto the Esx 24 and I'm now stuck as to how to remove then replace parts of that loop.

I know its probably a very basic problem but Its a nightmare to me.

does anyone know how to get rid of the feedback i get every time i try to use the microphone. idk if its because its the built in mic that's causing the problem but every time i have an audio track and i click in to record through the mic theirs instantly a shit load of feedback.

If you've already mixed it, why are you now only adding reverb etc to it.. That should of been done way earlier

Sometimes in the mastering process I'l add a bit of reverb to make the soundstage wider and/or deeper. This I'll use in lieu of an imager that can mess with the center.

I also add eq compression and limiting.. The difference is, it's VERY SUBTLE.

Help! I opened a track of mine and all the mute buttons are blinking but not highlighted. I can only hear the track if its in solo mode. How did this happen and how can I fix it?

I'm having a problem here. So, I hope that someone can help me. The problem is, I finished a track of mine. But everytime I bounce it, the drum kick is distorted. When I play the song in iTunes, the drum kick just sounds awful. When I play it in Logic itself, the song just sounds correct. What the hell is happening here, can anyone help me?

maybe your kick drum is to loud. be sure that the signal does not go over the 0 db mark. also try out the normalize option in the bouncing dialog. hope i can help

thanks a lot. Im a good musician and have made some awesome tracks on logic but i lack the technical skill required to take my music to the next level. thank you! (also ive been manually adjusting each note because I couldn't find the quantize function so thanks for that too. garage band didnt exactly call it quantizing)

You can just click the little button in the upmost and rightmost area of the arrange. It's pill-shaped. You can customize that toolbar, btw... I never touch it though. I usually like to hide it... it's hidden in my template.
