I have to say, I disagree with him about the Louett. I love my Ashford wheel and find it much easier to use than a Louett. Just my personal preference, but I don't think he should have made it sound like the Ashford was hard to use. It's not.

It probably would have been a lot more practical to just show them how to ply with the drop spindle. That would have been more accessible to the students. I doubt they have wheels if they need to take this class.

@clotho98 Agreed, it would have been SO much easier to demonstrate plying on a spindle. And I'm about to get my first wheel (a used Ashford Traditional) and my understanding is that they're like the VWs of wheels...

Gotta say that I love that era of Traditional though... pretty pretty wheel.
