  • 2 rail TmCC right on!! love it..all the great stuff Without middle rail!!

  • What are the dimensions of your layout? I'm considering going from N to O but I will need to build a larger table and need to know how much space to occupie

  • @Amtrak1194 this table is 16feet long and 9 1/2 feet wide. I have O99 curve on the outside loop. now All the trains do on this layout is go around in circles, Which is find for this Temp christmas layout. might need more length if you want it to do more then circle around!

  • That's a really tight S curve. Are you going to replace that crossover with a longer turnout? I have a couple of those old Atlas switches but I never arrange them in a crossover situation and I always have easements coming out of the curved portion of the switch.

  • Yes this is a really tight crossover! the old atlas switches aren't that good and I should have used the NEW atlas switches. This is a temporary christmas layout and putting the crossover in was a last second idea when I was putting it together. Maybe next year when I put it up I will change that. The biggest problems with the old Atlas switches are. 1. there not for scale wheels old Atlas rolling stock didnt have scale wheels & 2. kadees run out of side to side movement to tight of a curve!
