I always hated the lockpicking in that game. So frustrating!

@Nedread Get the skeleton key ASAP then, makes life a lot easier. Adds +40 to security (lockpicking) and is unbreakable. Just autoattempt repeatedly until it opens.

there was suposed to be a quest with the letter and the bands,they were probably the reward for the quest but it got cancelled,but its obvious theres gonna be something unique in the chest,when a chest has unique name the item inside it will be unigue and fixed in its location aswell

you can make it so it doesnt say stolen, just pickpocket him, put it in his pocket, and kill him, items you took from people you've killed they dont count as stolem. good luck.

@dion70000 Actually yes you can. Reverse pickpocketing poison apples is a great way to kill people without it technically being considered murder (you can do the entire Dark Brotherhood questline without committing a single murder, not counting the one you have to commit to get in).

@Markym8 Yeah well that because there is so much to do ive had it for at least 3 years on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and i'm still not bored of it. But i can't wait untill the elder scrolls V skyrim.
