i played this game and i dont like it in the mp theres no anti cheat protection there are no dedicated servers and the game dsnt even have a cd key. The sp is very short like 11 main missions and a few very short side missons wich dont even have open world gameplay like they said in this trailer.

I almost laughed when I saw the ground vehicles, especially the PLA's equipment, the level of detail is atrocious for a modern game, less geometric detail than OFP1 in 2001. The characters and weapons are adequate, but it took a hell of a lot of post processing and standard effects to get the game looking convincing.

OPF is as real as you can get in the sense of damage and physics of the bullet and all that, but the only way an fps can be realistic is if right when you die the first time the cd breaks.... but just like actual war, it wont be fun.

I was actually making a point about the price tag, CoD4: Modern Warfare 2 is apparently launching at £54 (in the UK), and that's the basic edition. I doubt Flashpoint will be more than £35 on release (which seems to be the standard for most games nowadays.) Frankly, I don't have £100 to spend on two games, and I'd rather get this as, awesome as CoD4 is, this seems a more interesting and ambitious title... Modern Warfare 2 will probably just be more of the same, awesome multiplayer though.

Looks like a dumbed down version of ARMA 2. The command system looks faster, I'll admit, but far less in-depth. Most of the things the developers in this video try and brag about have been done by other games last year, and the year before that.

Arma2 is the same game as ArmA 1. They just improved the graphics, added a island, some new infantry/weapons e.t.c And they made the same mistake with ArmA 1 they released a bugged up version of the game. And they totally ruined the release dates instead of releasing it at the same time. Don't get me wrong i'm a fan of both games. I like arma for it's realism and i like ofp for the realism and the soldier feel that the dev's are aiming for.

dont know soldier of fortune, but if this is anything like the first one (came out years ago) its more about realism/freedom then arcade style (like COD series). The first one you really had to plan your move tactically or you were dead in an instant, some missions took me multiple times to work out when was best to attack etc.

I'm not sure that this one will be as tactical as the first, we'll see though.
