I just saw a commercial on NBC 5 for Traffic Plus and there was a clip of Sky 5 and it said Sky 5 HD....yes. I have pictures. I'll get them on my profile soon.

Ok im uploading it now. I recorded the news tonight and i saw it on there. Yes i wonder if Sky 5 is or will be going HD now?

On the 5pm news tonight NBC 5 debuted an update to the NBC Tower set and I called, NBC5 will be in HD tomorrow! Monday, JAnuary 14 and NO I am not lying,

those two cameras in the traffic center are HD flash cams like the one in the WLS newsroom and the one in their state street studio....another hint of NBC 5 HD News? WHo knows....

They are only trying to save money. Why buy an SD camera, when you are only going to have to upgrade it to SD and spend another fortune?

your comment made no sense. I was pointing out that those camera were HD flash cams....not SD as you are stating. They now have HD cameras in the NBC Tower Newsroom studio. All they need to do is upgrade wiring and control room to HD compatible and then they can go HD.
