I was fortunate to be a crewcheif on one. We went to that same airship in 2004. Flew all the way from Jacksonville NC. What a blast.

The CH/MH-53E Super Stallion and the Dragon cockpit and cabin were almost the same beast, beyond that there is no comparisious. The gross lifting capacity for the E is 68,000 lbs on running take off the Pave was grossed at 51,000 lbs after some mods the newest version of the 53 will be the K and that will be a major beasty it will have a gross lifting waight of 88,000 lbs.
