  • You are awesome.

  • Mustang or jag?

  • great, but when it said demo i thought somebody was going to show what all those switches do, I am guessing the top horizontal ones are on-offs for the pickups, but the three vertical ones? what do they do?

  • Quality video man. I am looking at buying a Jag in the future, I've played one for an hour or so but it wasn't enough to get the real feel of it. Your video did a great job showing the versatility of this gorgeous instrument, not to mention, your a pretty solid guitarist. Impressive, thank you!

  • Righteous

  • knarly playing dude!

  • whats the ENDING JAMES BOND CHORD PLEASE ANYONE..

  • It's E - 0 A - 10 D - 9 G - 8 B - 7 e - x

  • you look a lot like kurt cobain!

  • I like this guitar except it doesn't have a true Jaguar Tail Piece. Just that little bit of chrome makes a big difference. My Jaguar isn't happy! Good video though.

  • I bought a new Jaguar in 1964. They were cheaper than the other Fenders at the time. They were never considered to be as good as a Strat or Tele in those days. I bought a Lake Placid blue one and I bough t a Jag because I couldn't afford a Strat or Tele.

It's good to see that they are somewhat sought after now. I don't even remember what I did with mine. Probably gave it away when I went to Vietnam. I wish I had it back now. Big bucks on Ebay now.

  • @GVDobler if i had a guitar like that it would never leave my side, i have this exact guitar and i love it but i would much prefer one like that

  • what amp do you have it going through

  • Thank god, this was really what I was looking for! Thanks for posting this man!... btw I really like your taste in music :D

  • that james bond theme is sick man! haha i learned it from this video and had my bandmates cracking up. thanks!

  • just wondering, do you use a guitar pick?

  • As far as I'm aware the neck isn't arched back?

  • That's some nice improv in the beginning.

  • sounds good to me

  • of course the pickups that came in my mustang were awful but once you change the pickups its a great guitar it has the nicest neck ive had on any guitar

  • Seriously GAS'ing after this guitar...

  • Very plush Fender there.

  • I <3 people from London

  • I don't look like Kurt Cobain! Not in real life anyway...

And why do 21 people dislike this? It's just a bloody guitar demo!

  • @furorelondon jealousy? idk, but you played great!

  • @furorelondon Dude, u look just like cobain. And believe me, thats a gift. Plus u do kinda play the same guitar he played

  • @furorelondon You can't let the dislikes bother you, no matter what type of video it is you will always get dislikes, some people spend all day on youtube just disliking videos. Your doing a great job so keep going :) don't forget about the 356 likes you also have :)

  • @furorelondon omg you look like Kurt Cobain!!!

  • you look like kurt cobain. good job!

  • lol yeah hendrix sounds a lot better on a strat

  • It's Kurt Cobain's ghost! He has a Youtube account! He's playing from the grave... We miss you Kurt ;-)

  • he looks nothing like kurt cobain

  • Suck A Sweet Cold Clean Voice. this is gonna be my future guitar.

  • Hey fellows, i know this is dumb but i want to know if it's possible. Is it possible to replace guitar neck of an esquire strat with aftermarket neck of real deal ? Just to say i already have Gibson les paul but i want to bragg with fender but i don't have enough money to buy real one

  • @MrHeavysteel yeah dude, its posible, just havo too look for the scale to fits

  • @MrHeavysteel thats stupid as fuck just sell the shitty gibson if u want a fender

  • @stevenhyde1960 No gibson is not shitty, matter fact i am more statisfied with gibson than fender stratocaster. Recently i tried one and i instantly denied it. It has 2 frets less than Les Paul and it has big block of wood when i am playing above the 12th fret.

  • @MrHeavysteel there's only one fret difference on a stratocaster and it depends on what strat it is there's one's that have 22 frets as well i have a les paul and i prefare my fender mustang any day it has a sweeter sound than a les paul and im plannig on selling that soon for an olympic white humbucker model jaguar

  • You look like Kurt Cobain and Chad Kroeger mixed together

  • Beautiful guitar, nice sound, nice play :)

  • fuck man you look like kurt cobain haha!!! really, you look like

  • @RedVader29 It really is quite the tempting guitar!

My looking at Robert's own, the Schecter Ultracure, I can't help but feel torn between the two! I think I'll give both of them a thorough testdrive, given I'm still a few cents away of actually being able to afford one >< ;)

Thank you for your reaction, and much respect for your videos!

  • what is your amp?

  • I'm looking for a guitar giving me sounds ranging from 'Robert Smith cleans' to 'Jack White distortion' - would this guitar be a good pick? Or for the money, ae there other options I should consider?

All help would be much appreciated!

  • i bought one of these in december and i love it

  • It's Kurt Cobain's isn't it?

  • Ok I'm trying to make one of these In my wood class, but does anyone know where I can get the templates for this guitar?

  • Fantastic guitar, and great playing! My favourite was Purple Haze among these, but they were all absolutely fantastic!

  • This guitar is awsome it has pedals on it

  • Played one of these at my local Guitar Center. Too bad I couldn't here, cause all these young punks were playing distorted metal next to me!

  • love bert jansch (especially his version of david graham's 'angie'). love a jaguar! have one myself :)

  • Purple Haze was great you really did a good job.

  • what is the song you played at 0:40

  • @Crazyboy3OOO Superstition, Stevie Wonder. There's a song list in the description.

  • @furorelondon is the neck arched back to compensate the tune-o matic?

  • is this a good guitar for surf rock? i know the standard jaguar is great but i just dont know about the whole HH factor thanks

  • hello, nice, where is that beastmade?

  • your a really good gutairest. :)

  • I have owned this guitar for 8 months and have spent my fair share of soup ups for it.

I reccomend a tube amp if your style is jazzy and classic like most jag players, a tube overdrive is good for grunge and alternative stylings. I didn't replace anything on the guitar but I had to remove the pickups to get all that pesky packing plastic off the body. I really enjoy turning the gain up to seven and stomping on the phase shifter, Real unique qualities to this guitar, it just rings like a bell :D

  • I just wanted to say this: If anyone here is contemplating buying this guitar, stop thinking. Just buy it. I have never owned a guitar with such a wide range of tones, with such a good look, and such great playability. BUY IT.

  • im lookin for of these in white, so fuckin hard to find in canda

  • @rockinrudolf69 That's because they don't make them in white ;P

  • @furorelondon hate to contradict, but they definitely do one in white!

  • @JoeMFC

Have a look on the Fender website, the white HH is a 'Classic Player'.

    Not the same model!

  • @furorelondon You're not wrong there! EGG. MY FACE.

  • @JoeMFC Haha :D

  • you're awesome

  • จั้ง ซี่มันต้อง ถอนนนน

  • man i played one of these at guitar center and fell in love. they just look so classy and have such a nice thick jazzy sound, but can scream if you need them too. WANT!!

  • jazzy

  • those stock pickups?

  • Ive had this guitar for about two years. i fuck my hand up on the bridge sometimes just because you really need to wail on it to get that sharp snapping tone out of it. love it though.

  • do they do the same one in black with a tremolo?

  • cool guitar. but kurt cobain plaied it. and i hate kurt cobain, his music is porbably some of the worst music of the last 50 years. thanks to him now that guitar is to me the symbol of shit

  • @lucadepu Weird. The fact that Kurt Cobain played this guitar made me want it even more.

  • @lucadepu i wont flame you, but please say "in my opinion.." before you start slagging a musician off. Nirvana is my favourite band :)

  • @charliegray12212 oh well i would and could have said in my opinion, but Nirvana is horrible i mean, they are, it's not my opinion, it's a non confutable fact

  • @lucadepu tell that to millions of fans.

  • @charliegray12212 fans don't make the music good, you know what they say.

  • @lucadepu i respect bands that have a following, even if i despise the band. all im asking is show some respect even if they are not a band you like.

  • @lucadepu Stop fighting children!

  • @lucadepu like snowboarding?

  • @eRealist of course

  • @lucadepu They most certainly are not! They are one of the best bands of the 90's next to soundgarden, pearl jam and alice in chains(RIP mike starr)

  • @charliegray12212 agreed

  • @lucadepu faggot

  • @mrshnarfles cockmeat lover

  • @journeyquest1 This guitar is perfect at being what it is. If you don't like that, buy a different one. Don't be impertinent buy suggesting how it could be made into a completely different guitar. This is a Jaguar HH, not an Ibanez.

  • @furorelondon Well fucking said dude. That was perfectly put. Would you recommend this guitar? Im looking at getting one. Does it have bridge problems? or staying in tune problems?

  • @journeyquest1 well then you might has well buy a shitty metal guitar rather than a quality instrument.

  • wow that's a lot of buttons. What do they do?

  • @LWRCftw Change the sound

  • @furorelondon well I know that. I was looking for specifics

  • @LWRCftw coil cut or turn pickups on/off, and the one at the top turns on only the neck in parallel wiring, and adds seperate treble and bass controls

  • What Amp are you playing through?

  • awesom demo dude. i've been thinking about getting this model jag... i think im gonna go for it. thanks!

  • furorelondon, is the bridge still the same as on the old models.

I'm asking because i have a 1972 jag...nice sound, but not suitable for some styles because of the typical buzz.

i know you could change the bridge to one from a mustang and put a buzz stop on it, but sometimes i like the buzz. But from what i can hear the hh has no buzz,or am i wrong? buzzzzzzzzzzzz :-)

  • @dirtypaper They swapped out the original bridge for a tuneomatic. I think its because the strings would pop out off the bridge if you played to hard or something like that.

  • Good demo!

You can really play that funky music white boy!

  • yeah kurt!

  • yeah james bond:D:D:D hope to get that guitar soon^^

  • XD kurt cobain?

    Nice demo dude

  • can you only get the jag with the humbuckers in white and black?

  • @jakeyboy2929 This particular model only comes in black. The white one is a Classic Player Jaguar, which I think also has humbuckers but I've never played it.

  • I own the same guitar and I've got to say it looks weird to see someone using my baby's cousin to play some Dad rock.

  • 7.25 Radius fingerboard.

    what's it like to play?

  • @syncosync Uhh, what radius is a fretboard normally?

  • @furorelondon usually 9.5

so that's smaller. i think i'd really like that guitar

  • @syncosync Oh right. It was never a problem for me, and I don't exactly have small fingers.

  • splendid !!!

  • Great!

  • that's the coolest fender ever

  • Hard to see what you pick on the James Bond Theme. Could you send me the original video so I get a better quality to tab them?

  • I haven't got the original any more, sorry :(

Which bits are you having trouble with, I could tell you what I'm doing. I haven't got the patience to tab the whole thing out myself though unfortunately.

  • OMG...! I have a guitar just like this, check out my videos. It is like identical lol

  • That's because it's the same model. Your videos are not pleasant.

  • sorry but they really arent all that great. youve got potential though, im not trying to be a dick but dont let people lie to you about talent. especially music.

  • "Some of the best musicians in the world didn't have talent."

The only person I can possibly think of that might fall into that category would be Rolph Harris.

But even he could be argued as talented.

  • I think you're a great guitarist, but I really do believe that are some great musicians who had little talent.

As long as you but your all into your playing, I think "talent" is really a subjective thing. I can play all kinds of music, but almost all my favorite and most creative guitarists had virtually no technical talent.

  • @Flea817 "most creative guitarists had virtually no technical talent". But creativity is a talent, no? Technical ability is just one of many things to consider. The beetles didn't have much technical ability, but they were extremely talented as musicians.

You don't have to play blazingly fast or complicated stuff to be a good musician, but it DOES require talent in some shape or form. Whether it be creatively, emotionally, or otherwise.

  • Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it was established we were talking about technical ability.

I agree with you, but I just assumed we were talking about technical ability.

  • @Flea817 Well we were talking about thejakeludwig, who has no talent in any area what so ever

  • Also I would just like to say, I really don't believe you're genuine. I don't think it's possible for you to not realize how horrific your videos are, so I have concluded that you're having a laugh.

If that's the case, then you sir, are a talented young comedian.

    If not, Lord help you.

  • FUCK YOU!

  • NO, FOOK YO!

  • No, F.U.... Fukk Yooahh!

  • @thejakeludwig you sir are what scientists may call A RETARD!

  • omg this is my dream guitar!

  • beautiful guitar and nice playing.

  • WHALE

  • This is a jaguar the jazz master has a wammy bar

  • The jag has a whammy bar to.

  • @SlowOctober

This is a jaguar HH, the jaguar and the jazzmaster both have a 'wammy bar'

  • dude! dont say to ignore your face! it just makes peaple look at it even more haha

  • talent is better than looks! don't be self-conscious

  • That was such an awesome James Bond rendition.

  • It's a Jaguar. Similar, but not the same as a Jazzmaster.

  • @StinkySteve666 No it's not. Fender sells several HH Jaguar's now, this is 1 they've had for years.

  • do you think i should buy this guitar or the Fender jaguar RW car LTD because it has a whammy do you think its important with a whammy ?

  • Is the whammy important to your playing?

I never used it, so it was not important to me. If you play like Steve Vai: it's essential.

  • that tone at the james bond part is perfect! What distortion pedal are you using?

  • No pedals, just the guitar running straight into the litlte Marshall 15 watt you can see in the corner.

It's the guitar making that tone lovely sound :)

  • Nice playing.

  • you are suspiciously self conscious

  • You have no idea.

  • If you can tab the james bond theme for me you made my week, pls I want to play it so bad!

  • My bf and I dont think you look fat at all. Dont be so hard on yourself. Plus you play guitar well.

  • Amazing and Beautiful Guitar.

    Nice going :)

  • oh man i saw this guitar at guitar center and instantly fell in love with it then i sat dwn to play it and i was like damn i want this too bad they cost so damn much

  • can someone let me know how you can switch the jaguar neck with a jazz master neck and how much will it cost

  • Hey im thinking of buying one of these or an American Strat, everyone tells me to go w the strat simply because its american and is a lot better crafted, What do you guys think? Thanks! :)

  • @SexyFuckingBeast1 american strat you would think is better because its american but when you play them side by side the jaguar is better. thats my opinion but im a blues/classic rock guy

  • wat are you playing from 1:00 to 1:24??? sounded sick

  • It's Sweet Death by Bert Jansch.

  • u hav a mint taste in music man :D

  • hey can you please send me that tab for James Bond? You're really good!

  • Please see the description.

  • would it look weird if i bought this guitar then put a 22 fret telecaster neck on it? i think it would look awsome

  • i was thinking of putting a jazzmaster neck on one

  • I would go with this over the Strat. Only the American strats are worth while, and if you get a Mexican one, you need to upgrade the substandard parts. The Jaguar HH is a very versatile guitar and could probably play anything from metal, punk, grunge, blues and clean. I believe it's Japanese made and should be good right out of the box.

  • so...should I buy this or a fender standard strat?

  • this

  • @Alienpubes howlong you been playing?

  • 3-4 years. I can't solo worth shit but besides that I'm ok.
