TSA CAN touch citizens- they "hand pat" me every time I fly. I have a pacemaker and shouldn't walk through metal detectors. They use latex gloves and tell me exactly where they are going to touch before making contact. It takes 5-10 mins. The "freeze" thing may be true. Unless abused, this does not bother me.

I worked for the airport and observed TSA rummaging through your luggage. They do serve an important role for detecting explosives. The TSA can not tell a us citizine to freeze they have no law enforcement authority. One touched me once to hurry me. I told her that was assult she nearly shit herself. They can't make you freeze the scope of thier job is to handle your lugage period. Have you noticed they make you walk threw a metal detector and they wand you. Never once do they touch you. Why? because by law they can not. If you think there is a no fly list thats fine, but you loose your creadibilty with the "Freeze" thing.

TSA CAN touch citizens- they "hand pat" me every time I fly. I have a pacemaker and shouldn't walk through metal detectors. They use latex gloves and tell me exactly where they are going to touch before making contact. It takes 5-10 mins. The "freeze" thing may be true. Unless abused, this does not bother me.
If the Fly List thing is true as described (used to subvert, punish, intimidate pol."opponents"), that is despicable and an outrage. How did she find lists/names?

I worked for the airport and observed TSA rummaging through your luggage. They do serve an important role for detecting explosives. The folks working for TSA hate their job just like the average Joe - so don't blame them. Blame Bush. The watch list is being abused. Sounds good in theory, but unfortunately politics and sinister motivations naturally take over. Bush sucks. The two candidates for Pres have nothing to offer. Ron Paul all the way. Too bad voting is rigged.

I am pretty aware of all this but have been very ill with a fatal disease for years. I wonder if I am on the list. Probably. With 1 in 99 adults locked up, and now 1 million on the list, that makes about 1 out of every 80 people? Jesus. That is more than China and Russia combined! They both equal 1.3 billion!
