i have found that pse bows in general including my bow madness and my friends gx perfer a weaker splined arrow if it tunes shoot it as long as it meets minumum arrow weight. i am an archery tech @ a local archery shop and we are a pse dealer.
Hey guys, i just bought the same type ('96 advantege) of crossbow, a G-force. And i got a tiny fucking problem. It's impossibly hard to drawn it back with my bare hands (I didn't try it with hand-trigger mechanism yet).
Is this a normal thing or am i week? (wich i don't think so, because other people had problems with drawing my g force too and i was able to easily draw other compound bows before)
I only did shooting with traditional bows, this is my first compound bow.
I shoot a 29" draw at 70 pounds and shoot the radial x weaves the charts call for a 300 and they are strong arrows but with such a light arrow and a lot of poundage you can hurt your cams or your limbs its cool use whatever set up you want I was just tryin to help ya
you need to do some research pse suggested this arrow I have 15 confrimed kills with this bow 4 deer on one arrow I have a great set up. The radial x weaves are stronger than normal arrows
you said your shooting 70lbs with a 29 inch draw right? but your shooting a shaft that is to weak for your set up. the 200 radial X weave shaft can only be shot if your arrows are cut to 26 or 27 inches. thats why this bow is shooting the speed it is in your vid..cuz your using an arrow that is to light for your set up. thats why its so loud to
well if this chronograph is correct good for ya... but how are you gonna trust a chronograph owned by two guys who like to shoot arrows in to the damn thing rather than shoot them through it... lol... word!...word! ... ya heard me!... what!...
and if it is shooting good, then i dont blaim you for having it. and if you can shoot groups with it too. thats all that counts really, is if it shoots good.
infact i change my mind about my last comment on the Mathews and Hoyt...
i wouldnt say i cant stand them, i just dont like them much.
and if ppl shoot a 10 year old bow, and can still shoot groups, then good for you, shoot it.
i cant stand Mathews and Hoyt...the only reason that they sell so much better than PSE bows, is because Hoyt, and Mathews spend a SHIT ton of money to sponsor bows, and stuff like that on Tv, and like having Lee & Tiffany Lacosky ( spelling? ) shoot them, so they will sell more. but that doesnt mean that they are better bows...i personally think PSE makes the best bows...but at the 2008 Archery trade show, the Truth 2 is a nice shooting bow also.
it's 5.5 short brace hight but the speed is still there and around 600 to 700 dollars cheaper than an X force, damn I just can't find one in 30" draw, LOL great vid by the way, yf dan
