Probably the whole reason why these vehicles are underwater is because cars sink at the bottom in the winter 'cause some lazy guys forgot them on the ice.
hey there. love the video..thats a very rocky area? like rock shelves? much find so many neat things? my husband and I actually hit a rock off opf strawberry island near big bay..this past summer...sooo scaryy
Water temperature was 38F (about 4C). To dive there this time of year you would absolutely need a dry suit, dry gloves and solid cold water regulators (preferably redundant). Divers there pretty much every wekend year around, diving off Government dock located at Big Bay Point Rd.
I live in Innisfil, (Alcona), and hadn't even thought about the prospect of diving in Simcoe. I wonder how many interesting things there are to look at under the surface. Are you interested in organizing a tour? I have a few friends who may be interested. Let me know. How cold was the water? I know it hasn't been that cold, but Jeez... Brrrrrr!
have the divers ever considered cleaning up the junk they come across...being good stewarts of our lake?
