Just for those who are complaining about petrol prices in the states, over here in Ireland we pay 1.51 EUR for 1 litre of petrol. Thats the equivalent of it being about 8.50 USD per gallon. 50 euro (about 70 dollars) would just about fill the tank of a compact car.

Wow, that's interesting. When I went to get a bike they told me the reason I could get a loan on a $12000 car but not a $3500 (07 250 at the time) was because bikes are considered luxuries by the finance world and rate different then cars. they protect your paint from scratches (and you are in that area 99% of the time when you ride) that location is always scratched, also it provides some friction for the rider to maneuver
