Why does everybody overrated ff 10 and call it the last great final fantasy. That game was poorly written, had way to easy self explanatory battles system that was too easy and it had a very strict exploration structure and the most annoying characters to date next to FF8. I love FF12 and I don't give a fuck what anybody else thinks because you know what it fixed almost all of the problems.

@stacetheface47 As much as I agree with 12 being good, I have to disagree about 10. I thought the character development was strong and the battle system wasn't much different than most of the other battle systems. Also, 10 had a lot of really awesome bosses that involved doing things outside of just attacking the boss and healing. But, yeah, I think 12 is sick along with you.

I will agree that 10 had good boss fights especially towards the end i just hated overly melodramatic corny scenes that played out in the cutscenes and the dumb character design. I just hate when people talk shit about this game.

@stacetheface47 I KNOW RIGHT?! What is there to hate about this game? it has all the right elements of an awesome RPG game, the only thing I wish square could have improved on is the glitchiness of the game. It's very easy to exploit and it takes the fun out of treasure farming.

@stacetheface47 FFXII was an excellent entry into FF. I loved the gameplay for it. I just wish the characters in XII had more development and more interaction with each other. Other than that, I loved it.

@CrazyMan03 Actually I thought the characters had a great deal of development. And their personalities, the way they interacted with other characters, and how they each reacted to plot developments were great! there was a wonderful subtlety to them that balanced well with the outlandish. It's still my favorite of the series, though it wasn't my first. After 12 13 felt so bland and obnoxious haha.

Towards the beginning of the song, it makes me think of a fantastical battle between two warriors riding mighty steeds, only to come within reach of each other and clash melee weapons.

It's kind of ironic how this is actually the best boss battle theme in the game, even though it's not the one used during the final battle. Oh well, whatever. LOL This is still one of my favorite video game tracks of all time. Fan-freakin'-tastic.

Who composed the music? Uematsu? Sounds little different. Anyways, I played ff12 in ps2 era and I guess the Judges and this theme is the only respectable thing of this game.If it doesn't renew with ff13 versus 13, I think I'll pass with ff saga, until they reinvented themselves as they did when took the chance with Tactics war of the lions, a jewel.

@cloudani Completely agreed with everything you just said. The series has taken a huge tumble into the toilet. I'm definitely not getting 13-2 (looks ATRRRROCIOUS) or Versus. We're still waiting for a decent main-line FF game. The last was FFX in ... 2002 (2003 for my region), so from next year w'ell have been waiting ten years for a decent Final Fantasy. Time to say the series is done?

@Music1222 13-2 probably won't be so hot, but Versus could be good. It remains to be seen, really.

As for FFX being the last good FF game, I'd have to disagree with you. FFX-2 has some of the best gameplay in the series and FFXII is probably my favourite game in the series.

@grendelson5 I think people say, generally, XII suffered in the music department; but no one can deny that it had some stunners in there. Music like this and the Esper theme were intense battle themes. I loved the Rabanastre and Eryut Village themes, too. I'm one of those people who think overall the OST wasn't as good as others but it did have music that I adored.

@CrazyMan03 Agreed, it may not be the best, generally speaking, but when it was on it... it was ON IT. Tracks such as Eruyt Village, Royal City of Rabanastre, Esper Battle, Prelude and the Opening Theme are amongst my favourite in the franchise. I also adore XII's version of the series' main theme.

I don't know why so many people hate on this game... it was very, very good. The world was massive, the politics were interesting, and the characters were (I thought) very well written.
