anyone who claims that portnoy isn't a good drummer is either criminally delusional or is just full of shit...he breaks up meters with the best of em, he's really really quick when he wants to be and he plays with feel...ok maybe he can't divide a double paradiddle and a paradiddlediddle between the 2 halves of his body like virgil and yeah he doesn't have the speed or coordination chops that mancini does...but you know what? he wrote caught in a web motherfucker
