Yeah, well... Operas in concert are rarely taped. As you surely know there is a Tamerlano with Domingo from Teatro Real that was recorded and the DVD preserves a very beautiful production. Unfortunately, without Bejun Mehta, for me one of the truly greatest singers of our time. But I'll try to find the radio broadcast and download it.
My husband threw them. :-) I am a very bad thrower. I would probably have killed the conductor
Indeed, it was a great night - and it is very sad, that they did not record it for DVD or TV transmission. At least it was on the radio ... but Plácido's and Bejun's "acting" in this staged performance was incredible. The expressions in their faces - unique!

You mean you actually threw those flowers? In any case, it was a great night. Sorry I was not brave enough to record Mehta last aria (as I intended).
