  • @Mesdriver Atheism- A religion people join to appear smarter.

  • Luckily this is just a myth.

    Never ever really happened.

  • An obvious emotional response from a human is to feel guilty. Why do you think it has worked for so long?...

  • awesome

  • was that hooded figure satan tempting him?

  • this is unreal

  • tears.. tears,... tears.. and much more tears here.. I can not watch more then this, cause it's getting much harder. :(

  • I love Jesus and I just started crying over this how they beat him that's so sad! Omg I can't stop the tears!

  • I went to see this movie with my older brother when it came out in 2004. I can remember hearing a few people in the audience gasp at a couple of parts when Jesus was being beaten. I didn't but some parts DID make me cringe a little bit.

  • One thing I noticed was the description says "no description available".

  • @foozybearz: You still are making choices...

  • "oh wait..." haha believe what you want to believe, you'll have to answer to what you're saying sooner or later.

  • Let me just see if I got this straight.....

God rapes mary and impregnates her against her will, outside of wedlock, and both he and mary commit adultery against joseph.......not content with rape, god then ignores his half breed son for 30 years, then on a whim he talks his kid into letting himself be tortured and killed in a grusome way, then to top it all off he practices dark magic to raise the mutilated body from the dead.....and you all want to worship a zombie and the evil bastard god? FU

  • @foozybearz: "...and if I choose not to decide, I'll still have made a choice." May God bless you and speak into your life. May your freewill be the catalyst to an honest search. May you be protected from the false prophets of this world, and may you be given a hint/hope/glimmer of the next!" The Humble King, who is the embodiment of Wisdom itself, has risen.

  • We are all faithful to something. Ayn Rand was faithful to logic as she understood it, reasonable thinking as she percieved it, facts as she could scientifically prove them. Her "faith" rested in the "tangible", "measureable" world. But rest assured it was still "faith". Because in the end, we are back at the beginning, and there is still a choice to be made about freewill. The Believers and the Naysayers, engaged in the business of choice...

  • Isn't that the most basic, foundational choice of our own individual lives. We all must decide what to do with this "freewill". Geddy Lee of Rush says in his song freewill: "...and if I choose not to decide, then I'll stil have made a choice!" If everything else is equal, what does the choice between "self" or "sacrifice" really say about the chooser? What do your choices say about you? If everything else is truly equal, what does your next thought, step, action, desire paint about you?

  • She called faith "illogical" and "unprovable". She often said that she should, "not be required to prove a negative," referring to her "lack" of faith. She agreed that God could neither be proven or disproven. In the end, I was astounded by her own "faith". She really believed that she was right. She was definitely not "lukewarm" about her beliefs. It seems that the arguement about faith and God always brings us back to the same starting point, and is evidence in itself of our own freewill.

  • I was reviewing some of Ayn Rand's interviews to get some perspective on her worldview. She was a devout libertarian and athiest. What was interesting was that she embraced characterics of both the political left and right. For example, her fervent belief in unbridled capitalism could be embraced by some on the far right, while her anti-religious views could swing her to some circles on the left. What was striking, however, was her aversion to "faith".

  • this was so sad that i cried

  • Jesus is God bro; read John 1:1-14

  • Jesus is God bro..

  • I believe in jesus, i dont believe in god..

  • Oh hell yeah. That con man jesus got owned. I wish David Koresh could have been beat like that, or Jim Jones, and all the other religious charlatans in history. People who claim they can talk to gods are just assholes spreading lies and bullshit. They should have flayed his followers too for being that gullible and enabling him to spread his lies. This isn't a divine person, it's a criminal that got what they deserved. Great movie about the punishment of jesus the unclean.

  • @foozybearz Gee, no need to be kind to other peoples beliefs, right? What goes around comes around asshole.

  • @MrBp230 "What goes around comes around" EXACTLY.

Jesus - False Prophet - Flaid alive and put to death by the law.

David Koresh - False Prophet - Burned alive by the law

Jim Jones - False Prophet - Killed a bunch of people with kool aid and then offed himself.

The only justice in the world is false prophets get called on their bullshit. Spread lies and reap the rewards.

  • @foozybearz But did Koresh and Jones come back to life?

  • @LouieIn720p No and neither did jesus because necromancy is black magic. If jesus rose from the grave he would be a zombie and who would be dumb enough to worship a zombie....oh wait.

  • It's funny, the Roman soldiers (the actors)are actually... Romans

  • i cry everytime i watch this movie knowing all the pain and tourture Jesus went through. that god loved us so much, and Jesus was willing to pay the price of all our sins, up on that cross.

  • Its your decision wether you want to live or die with Jesus there is life with out Jesus there is death, now for you Aithiest out there or however you spell it, now what if there really was a heaven and an Earth and you never excepted Jesus and you died and you went to Hell for eternity. Just think about that a life of damnation and pain when you could be with the father celebrating and living forever. Its all in a matter of choice. And God has always loved you even before you were born

  • @breadman2k1 So i should believe just in case I am wrong? Thats a stupid reason, and you know it. What if you're wrong? What if the Muslims are right? What if Zeus is the one true god? Huh? See, that is stupid.

  • @breadman2k not trolling but i got to understand do you actually believe there is hell or heaven ?or god?or?zeus? and neptun what about venus or ares ?god is invention of mankind

  • BEAT THAT FAGGOT

  • @champ23100 seriously man? believe in jesus or not this happened. have a nice day

  • @MrCornstalker wheres your proof outside of the gospels!!?

  • @champ23100 fuck u for talking about JESUS that way

  • @Xxbamafan u defending a niggga u never met and never will meet lol

  • the language spoken by the romans sounds siomilar to spanish, which why i can vaguely understand it, atleast when they are countung the lashes, Jesus christ is the son of God, and God is the True powerful God and creator of the universe

  • @callofdutyguy9

Thats because Romans spoke Latin, which is the root language of Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese etc. :)

  • Dirty Jews

  • That was funny!

  • @Antifaarefags

I don't think this is considered funny, I mean, this is what Jesus went through for all of us

  • @anakinfan8 I'm talking about the Romans acting like dogs.

  • @Antifaarefags

    oh sorry

  • @Antifaarefags Would it be funny if he was you?No, it wouldn't be so don't say it.Treat others the way you want to be treated.

  • I don't think Jesus was following a "religion." He just had such a love for everyone that transcended what was understood..even today.

  • @guigs219 Okay.I sorta understand your point and I say we just forget about this. Why should we fight about religion?

  • @guigs219 Look,I can tell that you don't understand this religion at all so next time just show some respect for other people and their religions okay?

  • @guigs219 What?!The fact that a man had to be tortured and had to die for our sins and for the crimes that we committed so that we may be forgiven for our sins?!You make me sick. You would have never lasted anything that had happened to Jesus. The pain he went through is unexplainable and yet you sit here and "giggle".I hope you read this and understand the point of this video and this comment.

  • No translation? Why?

  • Jesus Tit- Fuckin' Christ!! They beat the shit out of that guy. Wonder what he did?

  • My God, this whole movie is Jesus getting the shit beaten out of him and taking quick shots of the "evil jews". Seriously only a sadist would enjoy this movie.

  • SGTSAM is one exception...but I offend him easily...

  • Honesty seams to escape the "athiest" at times. Why? Because "honesty", not sarcasm; "honesty" not cynicism; "honesty" demands that opposing worldviews be placed on the table for examination. Then the discussion turns from "how we talk" to "what we talk about". I have not met an "athiest" sniper willing to talk about what brings them here. Few are willing to admit that they are driven. They are not here by happenstance-no, they believe in something. It's more than the Beatles...

  • Xtian: "Tell me about your god..something you feel compelled to worship".

"Athiest": "The Beatles...can't be all that bad to worship."

Really? Of course, my initial request included a request for no sarcasm. Why not simply say your "worldview". You worship your worldview. It brings superiority to your arguement...it is the reason why you are here...on a Xtian video site. You worship your belief that there is no reason to believe. That is your faith...not the Beatles.

  • A Xtian makes no apology for his belief. Furthermore, we may even say that our "beliefs" i.e. "faiths" are not our own. Rather they are gifts, neither earned nor birthed. I believe a set faith because Something-Greater-Than-Me decrees it. An "athiest" also believes in the same manner for the same reasons. I don't mock an athiest's faith, I try and show compassion to it. I don't condemn it, rather I try to get the athiest to reconcile it within a "larger" reality. Sarcasm is pointless...

  • I believe there are true athiest...but they wouldn't waste there time here. Most "athiests" here appear to be crusaders in their own right. What drives their anger appears to be a strong distaste for a belief other than there own. Some may temper this by saying that they are motivated by a search for truth. But a "true" search generally tends to open oneself to other points of view. "Open" in this sense doesn't mean accept or claim as your own; however it exchanges slander for compassion.

  • @richardallangarcia Anger? Haha. Ever seen the vitriolic speeches made by Hell an Brimstone preachers ans they spew hatred about the wretchedness of humanity. In the eyes if Christianity, from the moment we are born we have the inherited sin of out ancestors. Then we have to atone for it by believing that somehow the brutal self sacrifice of a Jewish eccentric Rabbi will make it all right. And you say atheists are angry?

  • I would never lump all athiests into one pot. Most groups, however, do have an "angry minority". Not all athiests are angry, but you appear to be. My reason? You come to a page dedicated to the God I believe in, and you begin to "tear down". You may say you simply desired discourse, but your actions/statements betray you. Laden with sarcasm, they reveal "self-righteousness". Ironically, you behave like those you criticize. Zealots always reveal their true colors...

  • I began by asking you to tell me a little about your god. If your god is the belief-that-there-is-no-god, that's fine. A Xtian angry minority may criticize you - I will not. Perhaps your experience(s) with "angry Xtian" taints your ability to have this type of discource. That's a chip on your shoulder. While I have my own preconceptions, I approach these discussions with "empty hands". I can respect ideas foreign to me even as I disagree with them. I prefer not to be insolent to ideas...

  • What I find callow in any line of reasoning is when one side paints with a broad brush the "unsophisticated" actions of the other side. As if this minority now has the power to taint the whole. Using that same logic, what about the "sophisticated" ideas or deeds? Shouldn't they bleed-over to make everything right or un-tainted? The point is nothing is perfect in the hands of man. We can even taint a two-thousand year old, Jewish-born philosophy that some would say was taught by God himself.

  • @richardallangarcia hey, who is the man in the robe walking at 2:14 ?

  • So if Jesus is God. Why would God need to put himself through all that pain to please himself? Is he a sadist? Doesn't make any sense. Why would he have to do that to himself in order to save himself from himself?

  • @philster61 he put his self in pain because those people said we will take you or your people he said take me not my people ... he saved over 200 of his people

  • He put his self "in pain" because the creator desired relationship with the created. How can the "not-Gods" begin to understand He-Who-Is-God? The story begins with a man named Abraham. 200 people would be an understatement, but that's a start!

  • @philster61: It has very little to do with pain or pleasure. There is no emotional or physical benefit derived from the Crucifixion. The derivitive is the santification of man from himself. As to why this particular manner...I just don't know. God could have chosen any "equation" to attain this result. It is simply His perogative.

It is shocking...scandelous. The faithful do find this way particularly moving. The unfaithful will mock it just like they would mock anything else.

  • Tell me about your god...Only, no cynicism or sarcasm...Talk to me about something you may feel compelled to worship.

  • @richardallangarcia I don't feel the need to waste my time worshiping anything. If I did then it'd be The Beatles and that's because they would be worth worshiping.Besides, the greatest band ever can't be all that bad to worship. And we all know they at least existed. Unlike the invisible, underachieving God.

  • Why "underachieving"? Why the parting shot? It would seem like you would rather instigate than seek dialogue. Are you a crusader? Would you admit it? You don't have to answer...it would seem obvious regarding people who spend time on sites like this pushing their own agenda. Yes, that would include me. I am an agenda pusher also. But I'm always looking out for the rare anti-faith intellectual...

  • @richardallangarcia I am always up for dialogue. Always into a good intellectual exchange. Unless of course you William Lane Craig who thinks that atheists are not too bright.Of course you may push your agenda, that is your individual right. As is mine to refute any arguments. I welcome dialogue.

  • Mr. Craig may be referring to the type of person who is afraid to doubt his/her beliefs. This person, "athiest or Xtian" has limited exposure to both sides of the aisle, and will argue as if doubt or uncertainty is a flaw of the philosophy rather than the individual. Why else would anyone argue sarcastically? Fear...the fear of being wrong. The fear of having your wordview proved wrong. Truth needs no defenders, and I do not fear where my faith will lead. I can "fight" with empty hands.

  • You say this, but you made a sophmoric comment about worshiping the Beatles...(please don't back-peddle and argue that some ppl might worship the Beatles, I doubt that you seriously considered that possibility until you replied to my comment. Even if you do worship the Beatles, it is inconsistent with your statement: " I don't feel the need to waste my time worshiping anything.") The pursuit of truth always begins with a step in the direction of honesty...

  • @richardallangarcia. I used worshiping the The Beatles as a metaphor. You asked whom I would consider worshiping. And I used them as an example of something actually worth worshiping. If I actually felt the need to worship anything. The pursuit of truth begins with examining the evidence.

  • Woah, he endured so much, stiltsen, u are an uneducated little prick.

  • He endured for stiltsen...What stiltsen doesn't appreciate is his personal role in the big picture. He may argue that his complete freewill demands that he argue against a god. His denial, however only encourages the faithful. I am so lousy that I refuse to pray for him out of spite.

  • Wow! Im thank full that Jesus died for me!

    Tnx JesUS

    NOT!

  • @Farexo do u believve in him ???????

  • Sorry folks, but this is an historical inaccuracy. Jesus was neither beaten nor was he nailed to the cross. The objective of crucifixion was long and slow suffocation. Victims sometimes hung on a cross for as many as a few days before finally dieing. A pre-cross beating and spikes through the hands and feet would only speed up the death process hence defeating the purpose of crucifixion in the first place. Still, catholic guilt never ceases to amaze me!

  • @cowboyriffie bu dont tha bible say he was beaten ?

  • it still gets me how u laugh, i would like to nail you to a cross whip u till u bleed and are black and blue and make u carry that cross with u up a hill with millions of ppl watching and throwing rocks at chu and let u die slowly and painfully for the sins of other ppl hmmmm who would b laughing now truth is even though its u pshhh i still wouldn't

  • Not only would you be committing sin, but you would be doing little to glorify His name. Do the harder thing: pray for the man; in private; away from this message string. Not because it's the better thing to do, but because it's what you are commanded to do.

  • actually no i dont have 2 users ever considered that maybe somebody else actually cares 2 that there are more than just me in this "spiritual pipe dream'' hmmm and uhh he did die for u but no use waisting my breathe to explain it cuz its obviously to deep for u to understand and honest its ur loss i dont really know u and i don't care if u go to hell if thats what u believe its ur choice just know that u had ur chance to change it while ur suffering all focus on saving 1's that want to b saved

  • i agree! stilsen god died for you & me and im sure ur mind is not in a state to b talked to for u can not grasp that fact i hope u can find him someday and he can open your eyes to the fact that you have been given a second chance seize the moment u can make a difference in the world if u want u would b surprised at wat a life ur missing without god... i feel bad for you right now and im gonna pray u can get on the right track and not waste your second chance cuz it would b a shame dont u think?

  • Man you are pathetic, I mean using two different user names to spew your stupid crap at me...

Listen, Jeebus didn't choose to die for anyone he was CONDEMNED TO DEATH for blasphemy, sedition and sorcery.

As for your foolish delusions that god sits on a cloud and listens to your thoughts and even cares whether you live or die... well It is I who feel sorry for you.

The certainty of a vital carnal existence far outweighs the uncertainty of a spiritual pipe dream, I hope YOU can find the truth.

  • god I love this scene, but the fun is only begining...

  • how do u have such a small heart to say such a thing! god died for u! and u think that is funny!? u r very very lost im gonna pray for u jesus died he died for u and for me and for everyone and it was alot worse then what we just saw! no1 cud redo exactly what happend on that horrable day he died for u people who lagh! he took that beating for us he did his part and we need to do ours our part is alot easyer then he had it we just need to give our hearts to father i will pray for u
