  • According to the wiki, 'Da'len' means 'little child'. So something like 'young one', 'my boy', 'lad', etc. Only elders would call the younger elves this.

  • TOEGOFF FTW!!!!!!!!

  • Dalen is ur name if u dont change it

  • I love how you try to stay in character! Keep up the great work!

  • that one elf chick is in love with ur dude lol thats pretty awesome lol

  • I luv how you make cute lil' names for your parts nd frankly (if I do say my self) you hav a pretty voice....for an elf heehee ^///^

  • @caityrockstar: Toegoff, message this presumably woman right now!

And buy the XL's, it'll impress her more. Tell her you drive a Porsche, then insist it's in the shop and what you currently have is just a rental. I'm saving lives here!

  • @TheEndKing I chuckled.

  • Dalen means friend

Shemlen or "shem" is dalish for human

  • 10 people are not enough to sustain a viable population, and even if it was, not enough genetic diversity

  • really like your lets play although the way u talk during the play through is kinda annoying no offense to u but "were destiny leads us" really really seems kinda corny to say that for a game that is not real but if u want to get into your character like that thats fine.

  • Ever considered to LP any Lord of The Rings RPG's?

And just explain why the **** you dun wanna LP assassin's creed and oblivion?*(sorry didn't meant to be mean)

  • why dun you LP oblivion?*cryes*seen your prank...

  • Da' Len = Young One

  • @AlexLong1000 how you know that?

  • @mamagz Basic Elven knowledge.

  • @AlexLong1000 I named my character "Daylen" (play with the letters in my name and so on) in my first playthrough, which made me pretty shocked when they suddenly called my chosen name... (subs was turned off)

  • They say your character's name. That's cool.

  • @scarfacedadio nah they dont they say dalen, as he is a member of the dalish race

  • @scarfacedadio No, they never do.

  • You're so grateful to your viewers that you thank them twice in a row?

  • this cutscene is rlly long do it faster it gets me board

  • @Rstar1142000 Get away from Dragon Age Origins.

  • 5:22 EPIC CUTSCENE

  • When U Said Ostgiliath I Realy Want To Watch Lord Of The Rings Now :)

  • Thankyou for these walkthrough videos really, such a person who brings us great entertainment deserves a thankyou once in a while. :]

  • @LikesToRaveDave I agree Thank you Toegoff for the wonder that is Dragon age: Origins.

  • i love your (live) commentaries!

  • Every rase have difrends story. Love from one as have installit on a 2,8Ghz and 1GB RAM. Pjhu I can play it whit smal difrends.

  • INDEED ^_^

  • this and the human noble beging really gets 2 me *sod sniff sniff*

  • Is he a good man?

What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk... Have at you!!

  • dalan or however you say it i think it is his name

  • @MrHighKoala nah, if you play through the female story they still call you da'len, it'd be kind of awkard if they called you "dude" wouldn't you say?

  • so sad ;(

  • indooobliously

  • indeed

  • "Indeed"

    so serious lol

  • dalen might be daliish for child

  • @rpgster96 Yes Da'len is child in Dalish language

  • haha for some reason i lmao every time u say indeed

  • I love LOTR to!!! I have every thing LOTR, and that would be awesome if they made Dragon Age Lord of The Rings, or something of some king of LOTR Dragon Age. Dragon Age reminds me a lot of LOTR, as well as Ostagar reminds me of Osgilith. But hey it's EA.

  • interesting it seems that all backgrounds have you joining the grey wardens or dying scenario they just do it very differently.

I've done the Castless Dwarf and I've started a Elf Mage and the castless storyline has you doing something that is forbidden to the castless so you join Duncan or you stay and die. The mage start has you unwittingly helping a blood mage and getting recruited by duncan or have the templar's kill you.

    Damn I LOVE THIS GAME!!

  • this video is only only about talking

  • how is the middle of the conversation a good way to cut the video? ><

  • Ah, King Cailand. I believe he was best described as similar to a puppy: excitable and naive. It's a damn shame that he was the only person in the army's hierarchy who respected the Gray Wardens sufficiently. No tactical sense, a desire for glory..everything but his friendliness made me nervous about what insanity he'd send me into. After all, no one wants to share a foxhole with a self-proclaimed hero..

  • what i love about u toegoff is that most other perveted players, when playing as that girl elf, would try to take off her clothes. u focus on the game! love u 4 that!!!!!!!!

  • Dalen is probably a term of affection for close friends and family. Like cousin. Also, the Dalish opening is pretty awesome. Though I think the mage opening story, noble dwarf and city elf are the best ones.

  • @klShadowDragon I didn't like the Dalish origin that much. But I do agree that noble dwarf and city elf are probably two of the best, along with dwarf commoner.

  • Dalen I think means child, Anderrin Attecian Is like hello,Lethheline means like brother/sister/friend.

  • well, the elf type is dalish, so i think dalen is a dalish elf.

  • @linksfood lol that would be a bit silly... That's like a Chinese person saying, "What happened, Chinese human?" xD I would agree with gaaradude123 up there, probably means something closer to our "child" like "What happened, child?"

  • this game vaguely similar to LOTR because of ostagar and darkspawn

  • i hate how they made helmets in this game cuz when you wear them almost all of the time they make you look....special if you get my meaning

  • that ostagar place looks like minas tirith from lotr

  • @jordy3500 Not quite, Minas Tirith was on a mountain with brilliant white towers. The defenses were laid in a circle. Ostagar is placed over a mountain pass to 'funnel' enemies through a chokepoint. Closer to Minas Morgul to be honest

  • great sound

  • Dalen = an old village and a former municipality in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Drenthe.

  • is it just me or does this game remind me abit of eragon?

  • @yondaime9113 alil but this is way better

  • no, there is a certain resemblance. can't really say much though having only seen a advertizement of it. the game is chalenging though

  • just the Dalish origin, though. The Dwarven ones are totally different

  • Uhm, thats wrong. Im German and Dalen means...pretty much nothing. ;)

  • i found out that Dalen in German means the valley

  • @liquidrock4u close its Norwegian and yes it means the valley

  • daylen is the characters last name

  • this game rules!!!!!!

  • and rule those that rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Big improvement in the sound quality from the last one, keep up the kick ass play through!

  • woopsie meant *would've

  • it would of been hilarious if you had taken off allyour clothes then had the funeral. :D lulz

  • @KingKoodaz .............

  • @KingKoodaz hahahaha wouldnt been the best awkward moment eva!!

  • not quite as awkward as this guy who in his LP of bully dressed up as a gnome and was like "Who the hell do these people think I am?!"

  • that is the most epic loading scene I've ever seen

  • lol no it wasnt

  • lol one of your chat options was "Me? A Grey Warden? This is Madness!"

Duncan would probably say, "NO! THIS IS FERELDEN!!!!"

  • @humanpersonguy and then he would kick you into a firetrap

  • @humanpersonguy that just made my day.

  • @desrin44 Good to hear mate ;)

  • @humanpersonguy good eye

  • @humanpersonguy lol yeah like 300

  • @humanpersonguy and then he kicks you off the cliff in slo mo

  • @humanpersonguy no this Dragon age

  • @humanpersonguy

    SOOOOO epic

  • Hehe, the castle looks like Hogwats ^_^

  • lol you sounded like a person introducing a new innovation for the fist time at the beginnig...

  • the king souds like allistar

  • *spoiler*

  • "Well folks, where destiny leads us, onwards." LOL Epic commentary

  • Duncan wants YOU to join the Grey Wardens!

    Sorry :D

  • @joejoejoe007 stop watching then?

  • @joejoejoe007 Quit cha Bitching

  • joejoejoe, youve come to these videos multiple times just to bitch, dont you have a life or a hobby oth than trolling

  • u cant rent this game..... i mean u can but theres no use... this game requires 140+ hrs

  • no, Dragon Age: Origins takes approximatly 40-50 hours to complete. I have played it through twice, as a human warrior and then an elven mage. My first play through took me 46 hours, but i spent alot of time exploring although i did not do much side questing, my second play through took me 48 hours, i completed the primary quests considerably faster because i knew what to do, but i did do many more side quests.

Not to say you couldn't play it for 140 hours, many people complete it 2-3 times.

  • my first playthrough took about 61 hours

  • even if it took 140 hours you could re rent is but it doesn't

  • @jumpthenoob umm, well i beat this game in like 32 hours and did most of the side quests so either your horible at the game and die like a billion times or you have never even played it and are just saying that

  • @dedricdude567 its funny that u beat this game in 32 hours when the box clearly says 50-60 hours at least.

  • @MrDailychance Thats not just for beating the game... If you do everything in the game it would be 50-60 hours at least...

  • @dedricdude567 lemme guess you did it on casual?

  • lol osgiliath, you're talking about Lord of the Rings....

  • Player: A grey warden? this is madness!

    Duncan: This is sparta!!

    sorry lol

  • Join the Gray Wardens today!

    Uncle Duncan needs you!

  • I can see that in a recruitment poster LMAO

  • lol hinterlands XD unless you playe a lot of games that aint a joke

  • I love how serious you get when you have to choose what to say, and how you speak it out loud in a serious manner...

  • lad if you are human youdo this mission straight up

  • I havn't played the game, but from what the forums say say, yes, any class can wear any type of honor but only if you raise a certain stat to match it, now some armors/weapons are class bound but for the most part you can use any armor, but for a rogue you want light armor so you can attack faster

  • I believe any character with strong enough stats can support it...

  • Wow this srory is great! I didn't cry but I was sad when u had to leave the elves...

  • man, you leave me with a difficult decision. i get this game on the 19th and dont wanna spoil the storyline. but im really enjoying these videos...

  • watch these vids and dont be a dalish

    simple

    easy

    done.

  • lol, but im not sure ill be able to stop when it comes to the main storyline :|

  • lucky you, i carn't get it until the 20th

  • dalen might be light may shingi gide u its just a say like thing

  • The sound is better=)

  • Osgiliath. Nice call.

  • This game looks awesome. I only hope that the enemies respawn.

  • @Falagar517 well its kind of linear...there are large explorable areas but you will go from one area to the next following the story, once you've dona all the missions in an area you ill move on so there is no need for enemies to respawn, that annoys me about fallout 3 though...

  • I just know some 8 year old is laughing his head off everytime he hears the word taint.....or some college kids have drinking games lol...get used to it your gonna hear it a lot :P

  • You should see what they look like when they have a Maul lol the hammer's are bigger than THEY are lol.

  • Osgiliath ?.... No... lol

  • Join him or die? sounds like wat columbus did to the indians lol

  • Can you become evil in this game? What happens if you do?

  • I'm not entirely sure. I know there are more 'evil' choices, but a lot of choices in this game are apparently 'grey' areas. They don't want every choice to be killing puppies and saving babies. They want you to actually really think about consequences.

  • should i buy the game first or rent it

  • @supcom117 buy it...takes to long to rent really

  • i rent it and u were right i did not had enogh time to finsh but is was good 5/5

  • @AncientScourge That really depend what you consider evil.

If you just mean acting has a selfish bastard with inflamated ego who don't look back to sacrificing other I am pretty sure you can be.

If you mean joining the dark spawn I am pretty sure no.

  • @AncientScourge You can become evil but basically you are just a dick... If you play Darkspawn DLC then you become a darkspawn and can play the final battle as the enemy

  • Wonder what a dwarf would look like with that sword lol!

  • Or better wonder what this sword looks like with a dwarf on his back. xDD

  • @Keligorm like normal, dwarf have habit of unusually large weapon for their size. =p

  • love the lets play keep it up, i subed, love the elf with the sword bigger then him lol, keep it up
