The difference between a good pub player and a league player is that the league player has decided to play competitively while the other still plays random pubs against mediocre players. Both are still good but the teams they play against are completely different. One is challenged while the other just dominates the entire team.

@Nuttegah The "viewmodel_fov" command only affects the size of weapons. If you want to increase the actual field of view, the command is "fov_desired (number)". 90 degrees is the maximum amount allowed by Valve, and the most commonly used by competitive players.

@Nuttegah enter in the console: viewmodel_fov 90 (or 80 degrees, or whatever field of view you want); the console can be reached by default by pressing ` (right by escape key). Note that the console must be enabled by selecting: Options>Controls>Advanced>Enab­le Developer Console

these guys are absolute beasts. most if not all of them have well over 500 hours of play. most of the ones on Loaded are on compLexity, which is one of if not the top team in the US, and Evil Geniuses are amazing as well.

TF2 has a major skill gab. Fight a pubby in a 1v1, then fight a league player. A soldier would juggle the fuck out of you, a demo would juggle the fuck out of you, a scout would dodge all of your shots and meat shot you for 100+ damage with near 100% success.

A pubby would do none of this.

Generally, join a Deathmatch mod server or MGEmod server, and a lot of the people there will be either league players or just as good as one.

I suppose it could mean he has potential, but more pubstar sniper's don't have the consistancy of upper league snipers. My main example is their ability to frag a strafing and jumping scout, which most pubs don't manage to do often.

Engima is a low dpi player, he does alot of his aiming with his movements rather then the mouse. Its looks so smooth.

Their aiming isn't really that smooth. It's because they're sourcetv demos, and sourcetv records an average of mouse movement. therefore it looks smooth like that. it's the same as spectating player.

I beg to differ against the non-believers. The scout had impressive skills. If you wanna talk about pub players, where the hell will you find scouts who are more precise and graceful? The scout in this video makes few mistakes if any.
