Why are people always talking about working out and lifting weights on these music videos. Listen man it's great that music gets you pumped up or whatever but I don't want to picture sweaty dudes while I'm listening to music. Going to the weight room is super gay.

The new stuff is so radio friendly that all their shows have become mostly frat boys and dumb college girls who pretend to have taste in music while their checking their facebook on their phones and taking pictures to put on their profile. I'm not on facebook and I never will be. I have plenty of real friends in reality. how did i get off on a rant about facebook

Honestly, I think I like Leave a Whisper and Sound of Madness the best of their albums... Us and Them is okay, but it's just not as good as the others. I love this song, Shinedown, forever(:

Sorry friends, but Leave a Whisper is by far THEEEE best album. Us & Them was ooookay and The Sound Of Madness is more like them when they were underground..but STILL not as good as Leave a Whisper. That album is just....Deep!

@Babycks526 Sound of Madness is not even close to Leave a Whisper because Jasin and Brad are not in the band anymore. The're music was more of a dark tone to it in Leave a Whisper, Sound of Madness is too bright, even though the style of the lyrics has changed not as much. The closest that they have come to Leave a Whisper in their new songs was Her Name is Alice and Sound of Madness.

I'll probably get slammed for this, but I disagree with everyone. They've grown as artists since there first albums. Every says they are so generic, no they are not. They are not generic, I hear no other bands when I'm listening to shinedown other than Shinedown. I'd be willing to take up that point to anyone. now, as for this. its good, but their newer stuff is better, but by far, their album Us and Them is better than Sound of madness

The new bass player and the 12 year old 3 foot guitarist make them seem some what emo but with jason todd and brad they looked like a hard band and brent ? in older videos he just looked like a young guy on drugs having a good time but now he looks like a fat dad trying to be cool. They're trying to grow as artists. I heard they're coming out with another album in 2010. All they can do by now is improve. So lets hope and cross our fingers for Shinedown to come through like they always do.
