I have only recently discovered Youtube.. I am so grateful to the people who post this stuff. On Broadway soon is a show from the UK about Judys' final days. It very good. John.
I'm not quite sure, but I think she is joking about the "business" of show business - that Miss Garland's "people", as well as the technical people, all excited to be around an Academy Award nominee, felt free to boss around a nurse, a medical professional, on her own turf.
Myy buddy ChunkyLumps just got booted off youtube becauseof CopyRright infringment. He posted the 1967 Judy & Jack Paar interview. I wish Mark the best of luck & come back to youtube ASAP. The ppl who own the copyright to clips like these, really shouldnt complain if no one's making money on the material. Material that's over 40+ yrs ago & most of the stars are deceased. There's a market out there for these classic moments.
Anyone else notice she uses "Great Big" to refer to a Rolls Royce, a record bigger than 12 inches, and 3 men in a maternity ward in this compilation alone?
Her voice is so entertaining the way she tells a story is amazing. She told a story about Orson Welles and a play he was doing in Wash D.C. and when Orson met Oscar LeVant, on the 1962 Jack Paar show which is hilarious!
That will be awesome. They both were on the 1962 Jack Paar Show. You should also use part of her and Robert Goulet talking & How Jack Paar was teasing that he lost control of the show when Judy and Goulet talked amongst themselves. Another Story Judy was very funny is when she talked to Johnny Carson during the June 1968 interview about the MGM school days. she mentions a funny name actress who didn't make it in the business. LOL and about her days in Vaudeville and a man who threwup 4 a living
Finally, a Judy fan who isn't nasty or Bitter! I have received so many nasty comments when all I try to do I remind people she was just Human and had issues and dealt with them the way she knew how. You post some good cilps. keep up the good work. :)

@brittquin2009 I think that the nurse thought what she had to do was showbiz. But it was hardly so :)
